Christine graciously came over and spent an hour going over the operation of the heating and kitchen appliances and bringing the tv back online for our use at my request, and we very much enjoyed the opportunity to visit with her about life on her side of the pond. Its quiet location is centrally located yet far enough away from city lights that spending evenings star gazing is great way to unwind after enjoying the day visiting all that Ireland has to offer. "We chose this cottage in the country to experience the local towns, people, the food, & history. We rented a car & used the cottage as base. Each day we drove to a different castle or locale.Even the Cliffs of Moher was a day trip. Roscrea village was close for groceries. Denise & Joe were very friendly, helpful, kind, & wonderful hosts. Loved all the decor, books, location & Denise’s Irish soda bread was YUMMY! Highly recommend. Debbi & Perry"
