"Hotel is ideally placed if you want to explore Winchester. Hotel restaurant Alfred’s serves amazing food albeit a bit expensive. Room is art deco in them. If you want to watch television though forget it. Digital channels cutting out continuously. Spa facilities are small."

"The reception area of the hotel is light and airy and very welcoming. We found our room quite easily and it was both comfortable and quiet.
