Beautiful Cottage near Sequoia with EV charger, fireplace

If you are seeking a well designed and outfitted home base for your couple’s retreat then Redtail Cottage should not be missed. It is a “Guest Favorite” with five star reviews given by every guest since it first listed in 2018. The setting is leafy and beautiful, close to the village shopping but remote and just a few miles up the road from Sequoia National Park. Guests tell of breakfasts on the private deck while watching quail families and bunnies romp on the private road; and dinners watching the sunset after grilling on the front porch just outside of the kitchen door. The Cal-King bed is wonderfully comfortable and the high end linens and black out curtains guarantee a fabulous rest after long hikes in the National Park. The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, oven, microwave, full size frig, dishwasher, coffee/tea service area and all the expected accessories with helpful spice selections. There are two AC/heat units on separate thermostats and even your own private washer and dryer with all the supplies. There is a darling English replica propane fireplace, two smart tvs and even a Tesla series 2 EV charger (TeslaTap adaptor is in the cupboard for universal charging). The free wi-fi is yours alone so you can download and share your pictures with friends and family and sign in to your video accounts. The cell service is also good so work or play Redtail Cottage offers you all of the comforts of a well designed one bedroom/one bath separate home in 780 square. Feet.

Had a great stay. The check in process was super easy and the place was very cozy. It was clean and super well stocked. It also was an easy ride to the National Parks. I would highly recommend this place!

Fantastic cabin right next to Sequoia National Park
We stayed in the cabin for three nights, and found it to be a fantastic place to stay. The cabin was clean and comfy. It was well equipped with everything that you could want for your stay. And it's located within a few miles of Sequoia National Park, so you can easily go hiking and exploring every day during your stay. The owners were super, and made sure we had a great time. This is definitely the place that we'll stay during our next trip to Sequoia.

Linda and Tom provide this cute cottage with an array of amenities, maybe the best we’ve seen in a VRBO. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. The cottage was sparkling clean, the bed super comfortable. The washer/dryer a big plus. A cute deck to enjoy the scenery and quiet of the mountains

Wonderful Cottage near Sequoia
If you are planning to visit Sequoia and would like to stay near the Foothills Visitor center (Three Rivers), then this is an excellent choice. Cottage was well equipped and very peaceful. Communication with the host was great. Really enjoyed our stay!

This is a lovely, well-appointed, well-supplied cottage, a short distance from the main road (but far enough to avoid road noise), that was just as advertised. We had a fine five day stay.

My husband and I stayed for a week and loved everything about it. The cottage is clean, beautiful, and in a wonderful location. Quail, rabbits, and wild turkeys right outside (rainbows, too)!

Cabin in Sequoia
Beautiful little cabin outside of sequoia national park. The majestic sequoia trees were the highlight of our stay. The hiking and local sites were also a wonderful part of our experience. A beautiful few days in a beautiful part of the country for a very memorable experience.

Perfectly cozy!
This was the perfect place for us to stay in order to visit Sequoia National Park. After being out all day, it was nice to come back to this cute cottage and relax in front of the fireplace. We had everything we needed to cook in the well stocked kitchen and the surrounding area was quiet. We enjoyed the local historical museum and restaurants and brewery. I would like to visit again because we couldn't see the whole park due to snow. Thank you Linda and Tom!

Nice Relaxing Stay
The proximity of the cottage to the entrance of Sequoia National Park is only 8 miles. Staying in this nice cottage and not a hotel or motel is my preference for sure. The cottage has a great kitchen so we made breakfast and dinners every night and the bed is extremely comfortable. Tom and Linda were great host!

This cottage is an absolute gem! It’s perfect for an individual or a couple to getaway and have all the comforts of home. Everything is comfortable from the living room, to the cozy bedroom with an awesome king bed, to the adorable wrap around deck. Oh and Linda is amazing...not only was she super responsive and a great communicator, she provided us with great recommendations!! We highly recommend this cottage...it really is perfect!

Beautiful Cottage with Privacy & lots of extras
This property & host is a PERFECT example of what a premier host & property expectation is. I LOVED they had spices in the cabinet, condiments in the fridge so we didn't have to buy them, plenty of coffee & a great selection of teas, as well as many other extras you won't find in most VRBOs. Laundry area came in handy to use while there. They even had a cooler & plenty of ice packs (perfect for our days in the parks). Extra pillows, blankets, even toiletry items in the bathroom in case you forgot something. The water was instant hot, which was great. Shampoo & conditioner were top brand & fantastic. The King bed was so comfy, & you could shut blind on door so it was dark so you could sleep late if wanted. A very quiet property off the main road on a side road, so no road noise, no noisy neighbors, just nature and peace. I loved that the bedroom had thick plush carpet, was nice for your feet to land on instead of a cold floor, and it made the bedroom even cozier. Beautiful prints & decor in the entire cottage. There is nothing bad or negative about this property or the host. They truly went out of their way to make it as comfy and homey as possible for their guests, and it shows that they care. Excellent floor plan layout w/lots of room! I would DEFINITELY stay here again if back in this area. Was close to restaurants, and close to the park, but not so close that you had traffic. Thank you for making your cottage so comfortable and inviting that we didn't want to leave!

Incredible Stay!
Our first thought when we pulled up and walked into the house was WOW! This place is immaculate and has everything you need for a home away from home stay. It has a huge bedroom and bathroom, full kitchen that has everything you could possibly need, and a great, comfortable living area. We prepared and enjoyed breakfast on the deck each morning, then relaxed in the living room each evening with a bottle of wine and recapped our day’s activities. This is very conveniently located just outside the Sequoia park entrance and is nestled in a quiet beautiful location. We saw deer one morning just down the road and rabbits every morning and evening out our windows. This has so much more than any hotel room or lodge can offer and is so convenient. We met the owners and they are great. If you are coming to this area and need a great place to stay, this is it. For a hiking trip, romantic getaway, or special occasion (or all three!) you cannot beat this. We had an incredible time and will not consider any other place to stay when we return.
