"This property is wonderful. The property is brand new/recently renovated and this is apparent as soon as you step inside the front door. All fixtures and fittings are of good quality and the charm of the original building such as exposed beams have all been kept. It is in a quiet location with stunning walks and trails on your doorstep but the village is only a 10 minute walk. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily come back ourselves."

I stayed when it was very cold and I didn't mind the outside toilet but the shower was another matter on a cold morning. I would love to experience this in the summer months. "The Stables is such a lovely place to stay. It's got lovely views over the countryside and it's so peaceful. The hot tub was great, there's a log burner (which we didn't need), it's very clean and you can tell the Stables has been converted to a high standard. The kitchen is well equipped, the wifi was excellent and its location is ideal for exploring Monmouthshire or the Forest of Dean. Highly recommend the Stables for any couple."
