Interesting that you asked about our stay.......
In April 2024 I booked Blues Air 3 for a group of 11 adults to stay for a weekend in August 2024. Two weeks prior to arrival the manager contacted me to cancel the booking due to issues with renovations, not sure why you would do these in the middle of the ski season. We had already paid for lift passes, ski rentals and accommodation in Jindabyne prior, all non refundable, so were not keen to cancel our trip. The property manager did not have access to any other properties that would suit our group so they refunded the majority of our money. I had to email a couple of times to follow up the refund of $40 in credit card fees which I don't think was fair to us to have to pay, these were eventually refunded, We then had to find alternative accommodation in Thredbo at very short notice for 11 people - doing this at short notice meant we ended up with much less comfortable accommodation at a significantly higher price, plus we had to eat out for all meals. While the property manager initially said she would look into options to help us out e.g. a discount on future bookings or a discount at a local restaurant, it is now several weeks down the track and there has been no reply to my last email and nothing has never eventuated. Pretty poor service really. And to top things off, on the morning we were due to have checked out, Stayz sent a request for feedback on our stay at Blues Air 3, even though they had previously sent an email saying the booking had been cancelled!
