"This was the second time my husband and I spent our anniversary weekend at this lovely spot. We enjoyed it so much the first time, we came back. The renovations are wonderful! We loved just sitting on the spacious deck with our coffee and watching the boats go by on the lake. Our pups loved the walk down to the water. After cooking our favorite meals in the new kitchen, the hot tub was a nice treat. Thank you so much for another beautiful anniversary we. "

"What a gem Lake Anna is. We visited from PA and could not have been happier. The home was clean upon arrival and the kitchen had what we needed for the week. It was cozy and definitely shouted lake life. I loved the rooftop deck! We enjoyed the included kayaks. Grocery store was very close. We rented a boat, visited a winery, and enjoyed great food. The weather was sunny and warm, it was what our family needed. Thank you and we will be back. "

"Our 14-member family stayed on the entire property (farmhouse, cabin and cottage) and had a wonderful time. This cottage is small and cozy and has beautiful views of green pastures. 2 fox kits came out to frolic in front of the cottage each morning, their den must be nearby. This cabin is perfect for a lone traveler or a couple."

"This is a classic cabin in a great location. It has beautiful views of the lake from multiple rooms and decks. The proximity to the boardwalk is convenient, though it comes with the lights and noise of a busy parking lot on Saturday nights. We enjoyed "people-watching" from the porch and firepit. The cabin is a great layout for families with kids. The mattresses are comfortable, though some of the beds are very creaky! "Such a unique, amazing stay. We are so happy we found this property for an early Thanksgiving getaway in Charlottesville to visit our family. The kitchen was stocked with enough pots and pans and appliances that it was perfect for making a full Thanksgiving meal. We loved it!"

"Nice spot to host our Thanksgiving weekend. House was large enough for the 9 of us. Basement is fun for kids with games, ping pong and a movie screen. They had a popcorn maker but did not supply any packets for the machine. Tons of games and movies, we loved the outdoor fire pit. Our only complaint was the condition of the carpet up stairs, lots of stains, found several dishes and utensils that were not clean and the washing machine does not work. Despite that we would definitely stay here...

"The house was very cute & super clean. Loved having the fenced yard for my doggies. Wifi was not great & the front screen door sticks a little, so dogs can push through easily. I think it would be a great idea to have a guest signature book. I was going to get one & also leave pictures of my dogs....the great Dane pictures were too cute"

"We came to Lake Anna on a family vacation, with ages ranging from 1-89. The house is located in a quiet section of the lake with a great view. The house was well suited for those of us in the age of 5-65, but the steps outside were a challenge for those who were older, and the open deck to the steep steps were not the safest place for our 1 year old. The pool is great! We paid to have it heated since we were there late September. The owners kept it at a nice temperature for us The fire pit...
