"This is an amazing house! Beautifully decorated, lots of space, comfortable and perfect for getting away from crowds of people. The secluded location was lovely. We stayed here with our 3 kids. During the day, we visited the busy areas of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains (all about an hour away). "We all had fun ! We rented a boat and played on the lake. The lake was so beautiful and not busy. The house was great! But no hair dryer and gum on the bed down stairs on the post? Just too many steps to get to the dock?"

Always helpful and prompt to respond to any concerns. 5 mins from town and all major stores but out of the way so you didn’t feel like you were that close to town. Quiet neighborhood, you are close to a marina so you did hear music if you are there for weekend but we enjoyed that too. Saw couple of deers who wondered neighborhood. All in all one of the best experiences we’ve had!"

"This was our second visit to Idle Hour Farm. It was fun exploring the property. Used the fireplace on cool crisp mornings we are early risers. I was formerly raised in Tennessee. The log house reminded me of my grandparents log house of days gone by ruined by fire. Love pd sitting on the rockers on the front porch. We even saw a wild turkey doing a walk about. "We stayed 2 days at this hideaway cabin. Don’t let the driveway scare you away! This cabin is fantastic for a family vacation. It was just my boyfriend and I & We enjoyed the peace and tranquillity we had swinging on the porch swing. Hanging down by the river and relaxing before we made our way back home. Highly recommend"

"Great cabin. Pictures accurate. Very remote, a lot of fun. Caught fish (including a 32" 15 lb striped bass off the dock!), swam in lake, hung out in cabin. They communicated well and left us fresh eggs (yum!). Very good experience!"

Excellent views, loved the sunrise over the mountains the reflections shinning on the water with the different colors were calming.
