"The cottage itself is well equipped with quality furnishings and equipment. Put together thoughtfully and stylishly by the charming owners. Unfortunately there is no green outdoor space as it's built on the gravel driveway entrance to the owners house, close to the local urban road and a main road. We went into the owners garden once to use their pool and were warmly welcomed. Overall this is a fabulous option for overnight stays or if you plan to be out driving every day. Throughout the visit the owners communicated with us to ensure pool maintenance etc was not intrusive. A required repair was dealt with speedily and efficiently. The house is large with large grounds in a rural setting. The pool was heated to 26 degrees and maintained by the owner. It was the focus of our visit with the children and grandchildren. "Had a very comfortable 2 weeks at this venue. The space is both very functional, comfortable and beautiful. No corners have been cut, the use of wood throughout is very pleasing. There is a bakery and supermarket very close by but you’ll be back to the serenity of the terrace and garden in no time at all. Stan is a great host, very considerate and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend a stay and I will look to book again!"
