"The inside is nicely updated. It was warm enough in really cold temps. Kitchen, bathroom, and flooring was all newly updated. It was good for a couple and really worked well for us. Close to Geneva lake area and Spire. Restaurants and the park were a short drive. The area around the house is pretty industrial but the house does sit off the road some so there was some green lawn. It was a safe area too. Host had good communication and responsive. I would recommend staying here. "

"Slight issue with getting locked out of the main building as we thought those doors were to be locked as well when leaving the building, but otherwise a nice place to stay overnight in a very nice area. "

"Good- Overall a good stay. Nice location, private beach is obviously the selling point. Host provided a few beach and lounge chairs. Nice fire pit for the evening. Sleeps 4, but a bit tight with 2 double beds. Worked well with two adults & two kids. Bad- Apartment is hot & muggy, there’s an AC unit in the kitchen but it doesn’t cool the entire place. We brought a fan and bought a second while there. Appears tidy but there were mouse droppings in a pot in the cabinet. Host was on site a couple...

"Went for the “weekend” appropriate name. Absolutely a weekend room, no longer. Perfect place for a couple day stay to check out Geneva-on-the-lake. The view from the front of the building is nice and the walk across the street to the park, absolutely perfect! "

"The newly renovated cottage was perfect for our weekend getaway. We have been coming to GOTL for decades and this is by far the nicest location we’ve ever stayed in. Very clean, amenities included for shower and laundry. Would recommend and definitely will book again."

"Although small, it was perfect for our needs, and still only 15-20 minutes from family. There were 3 small steps into this quiet and clean apartment. The owners messaged us to see if there was anything we needed. The unit is only a block away from the grocery store, and within a few blocks of several local restaurants. For those people who want to enjoy Lake Erie, it is only 5 miles away. Geneva is a charming place to visit. We look forward to another stay in the Spring. "
