The Bedrooms
Sink into a queen-size Beautyrest pillow top mattress. An old iron frame with glass knobs and vintage pine end tables make the master bedroom the perfect retreat for sleeping, reading or watching TV in bed. A full size bed is located in the master bedroom loft and a second, king-size bed is located in the living room loft.
The Kitchen
You’ll find everything you need to whip up your favorite meals in our fully-equipped, pint-size kitchen. In addition to all the major appliances, we include all the non-breakable dishes, glassware, wine glasses and platters you’ll need for a family meal, indoors or out. Quartz countertops and a deep sink are positioned under a window overlooking the back horse pastures.
The kitchen is stocked with bakeware, cutting boards, a toaster, mini Keurig, reusable K-pods, pots and even a cast iron pan. Your first complimentary coffee is provided.
Little Pine Lodge also has a wood fired tripod grill off the deck, offering panoramic views of the woods and pond—perfect for burgers or a steak.
The Lodge Room
Curl up in one of our comfortable armchairs or stretch out on our full-size leather sofa. The lodge room offers gorgeous views of the pond, with three large windows and French doors leading onto the double deck. Enjoy watching your favorite show on our flat screen (with DirectTV provided).
Outdoor Living
The lodge opens onto a beautiful wood double-deck. Polywood outdoor furniture offers comfortable, durable seating with both decks featuring bar-height dining sets for two. A spiral staircase leads to the second deck where breathtaking views of the pond provide the best spot for sunsets. Enjoy a glass of wine or whiskey while geese fly overhead and land on the pond as the sun goes down.
From the deck, a four-seat outdoor dining set is placed next to a tripod grill—the best way to prepare your food just like they did back in the day. A short walk down to the pond brings you to a group of six Adirondack chairs around a brick fire pit. There are also two Adirondack chairs off the pond bank, offering great seating for your morning coffee as you watch the mist rise off the water.
Catch & release fishing is allowed with trophy size bass and large bream. If you love watching wildlife and birds, you’ll also love spotting the many whitetail deer, rabbits, otters, beavers, turkey, herons and ducks that populate the plantation.
Love nature? Don’t forget to bring your boots for a hike! Little Pine Lodge includes hiking trails around a 50-acre portion of the 1,100 acre property, with trails and creek crossings.
Head Into Town
Thomasville has been featured in a multitude of national publications for its incredible shopping and dining. There are a number of amazing restaurants, whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner, wine tasting, cocktail, Southern fare, Greek food or pizza. We also have great brunch and lunch places as well as bakeries and farm shops.
There is also no shortage of amazing stores. Whether you love antiquing, decorating, gifts, kitchen items, imported goods, farm shops, or clothing boutiques, you’ll love shopping Downtown. We are also proud to have one of the USA’s best independent bookstores, the Bookshelf!
Keep in Mind
We are located in the country, so until Starlink is installed sometime in 2023, we do not have internet. We do, however, have a booster, providing a strong Verizon and AT&T signal at Little Pine Lodge. We also provide DirectTV, including sports channels. Please keep in mind that this is the country and the occasional snake has been known to use our trails. No smoking.
