"Incredible stay! It was an absolute dream. I stayed two nights in the overwater bungalows and it was spacious, confortable and an amazing experience. I got to rent a snorkeling kit for free and go see the corrals, fish and sea turtles that were nearby. The staff was lovely and the environment felt safe. "Good location, but pretty average cheap accommodation in a hostel. I had a private room which was quite large and reasonably clean, it took a long time to check in though. Air conditioning worked well. If you just need a place to sleep & shower this would be fine."

"It was the best place for me to save overnight while connecting through NOU airport. The staff was very helpful arranging everything."

"Loved the decor and very central to the port. There was a supermarket just down the road. Friendly staff. There was a kitchen but no washing up equipment. Asked and got a tea towel, dishwashing liquid and wiping cloth but no plug for sink."

"Great place to stay but not if you find stairs a problem as the bathrooms are in a separate building to the accommodation. You do have your own personal bathroom even though they are in a separate building. Ingrid the hostess was very helpful and friendly even though there was a language barrier and served a fantastic breakfast. We found the place a bit hard to find as it was not on the list of accommodation places on our GPS and had to ask the locals where it was."

"Sandra, with the aid of Google Translate made us feel welcome and at ease straight away. The cottage we stayed in was quirky, very clean and well-equipped including free WiFi. Local facilities aren't so good, you'll definitely need a car and the local beaches aren't ideal for swimming or snorkelling but there is a pool to lounge in and around. Noumea is about half an hour drive away and there are some museums and things to do there. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay there...

"Great place to get away from the world and just chill. Had an awesome time and our 20 month year old had a ball. Plenty of turtles to see while we ate outside, and although an avid fisherman, was great just feeding the multiply pan sized fish off the deck. Catch and release for me this round.... "
