Nice place- Hard to Find
"The hotel is at the Bubbles Restaurant. The building is nice and comfortable, but without air conditioning. The biggest complaint is that Google could not find it, and their directions are not good. Staff was courteous."

"I was very disappointed with Paleo hotel, The shower water in the wet room did not drain away, so was always wet and slippery. The window rattled in the wind. I stayed for 2 nights, paid my bill and left really I should have refused to pay for the 2 nights as I left there very sick probably caused ..."

Thika is a burgeoning city and the smaller cousin of Nairobi. It is always good to be careful here as crime does happen. Usually people are very nice and if you offer a smile and a Swahili greeting it goes a long way. Never go for the first price.
