"The view was beautiful and the walk to town was a little over 20 minutes, that said our room had a terrible smell in the 'kitchen area closet' they tried to clean it on the second day but it smelled so bad we had to sleep with the door open. The rest of the room was clean, towels were very rough (maybe air dried). I wish I could score it higher but the smell (like a dead animal) really ruined our stay, it was good we were gone most of the day. "

"Fantastic stay at Elivi. Facilities were fantastic and the hotel grounds are stunning. Impeccable buggy service around the grounds. Upgraded when we arrived and had our own pool. The restaurants were great, only negative was that the restaurants were very empty for dinner but that was more because it was end of season. Only criticism was that the bars by the beaches closed at 6pm and we wanted to sit with a drink and watch the sunset but no bars open. Again, think this is different in peak...

"We booked this property for end of September 2024 based on the reviews we read and we liked the look of the pool area. We was not disappointed. The staff were excellent and every request was met with a speedy response and the hotel was very clean. The pool was great with stunning views. However, to have these views you have to be prepared to climb some hills. Yes it was hard work but well worth the effort as the view is simply beautiful. "Our checkin was very slow, we had to wait over 2 hours. But we were offered coffee and nice view and pool to pass the time. Our room was basic. Breakfast was excellent and the staff in the morning were very friendly and helpful. "

"I selected the San Giorgio Villas because of its stated proximity to the Meteora rock formations, and I was not disappointed. It is, I believe, the absolute closest property to Meteora, literally at the foot of the giant pillars. We booked the Triple with Meteora View, and the pillars were right outside our window across the street. Breathtaking! "I selected the San Giorgio Villas because of its stated proximity to the Meteora rock formations, and I was not disappointed. It is, I believe, the absolute closest property to Meteora, literally at the foot of the giant pillars. We booked the Triple with Meteora View, and the pillars were right outside our window across the street. Breathtaking! My husband called the room “monastic”, which, given the Meteora monasteries, seems appropriate. It was simple, but absolutely beautiful with wood accents and some ornate decorative touches. The beds actually ended up giving us one of the best sleeps of our trip thus far. Breakfast was served to each table with a selection of bread, eggs, cheese, yogurt, cake, coffee, juice, etc., and was ample and delicious. One thing to note that might make this place even more appealing to some travellers is that it has a kitchen and large table where you can prepare your own meals. The staff was lovely and very welcoming! Highly recommended!"
