"Hotel is close to the train station and the harbour. Some staff were helpful, others less so. Even though the hotel was apparently recently renovated, it gives the feeling of being run-down - there were holes in the bathroom floor towel, the fittings on the shower pipes were loose, the toilet was installed skew with the toilet paper holder not properly fixed and hanging skew. The fitting for the hand shower was at waist height, meaning the only way to get a proper shower was to hold it above...

"My room was spacious, though most were small. I liked the balcony. The breakfast was excellent. The worst part was the bathroom. It was tiny, and there was no place to put toiletries, and worst of all was the shower. It was arranged so that the curtain was sure to stick to you, cold and clammy, while you were standing in the shower, and it also flooded the floor. There was also a lot of street noise extending to the middle of the night, and the curtains didn't black out the bright city...

However, the "hotel" was of very low standards because: no lift, my room was a 5x3m with one window to the back, no view (enclosed space), noise from other rooms (coming through enclosed space/open window), small shower (ventilation did not work, cistern had low pressure and did not flush properly), no wardrobe, no fridge, no coffee/breakfast facilities."
