"Polis apartment was great value, room was quite spacious for what we paid for in February 2025. Balcony and large room was nice! Walkable distance to sites in the area. We got a shuttle from the hotel for 35€ from the airport and 32€ back to the airport. Prices are reasonable for restaurants in the area. "

"The property itself is excellent with clean, updated rooms including comfortable beds, a kitchen area, a good shower and a small outdoor patio. Access is all provided through codes sent via email. This all worked fine, but we stayed two days and never saw a person on the staff. I don’t know how any type of problem would have been handled. The biggest concern was parking. "The place is a walking distance to dining, shopping, parks, sea and restaurants The view of the sea is quite stunning. I was quite impressed. The property manager is approachable and friendly. View from the balcony at the rear of the property was not the best (overlooking unkempt yards of other properties), but it was quite and the balcony is nice. The Gatto team arranged a taxi to meet us at the airport which was great as we were checking in late and the driver showed us to our room. "We enjoyed our stay. There are not a lot of amenities provided. For example, hair shampoo or hair conditioner. They only provide shower gel. there is no room safe. Four rooms are in close proximity to the reception desk, resulting in some ambient noise from guest check-ins and staff conversations. "The hotel it is excellent, great location in front of the sea, walking distance to many restaurants and stores. Historical sites are also nearby. Parking is very limited although the hotel takes your vehicle and park it for you for a minimal fee… you might not need a vehicle at all."

"I'll start by saying that I recommend this hotel. The staff are friendly. The room was clean. Breakfast had great options. And the area is very quiet. My stay was very pleasant. For prospective travelers: This hotel is located just far enough from the airport that you will likely need to get a taxi or call the hotel to pick you up. Keep in mind that you have to let the hotel know ahead of time about your arrival. I called just after I landed, and the hotel said that they couldn't pick me up and that I needed to let them know ahead of time. So, while they do offer a free shuttle to the airport, there is a caveat about communication. Other hotels seem to have a different policy and will pick you up from the airport without advance notice. That said, I let them know about my departing flight the night before I left, and they had a shuttle ready in the morning. Another thing to keep in mind is that this hotel is not close to the city. You will likely need to get a cab to the center of the city. In January 2025 on a Saturday morning the cab cost about 20 Euro. When returning back to the hotel, the cab cost 16.5 Euro. The staff are happy to order a cab for you, so feel free to ask them about it. I highly recommend bringing your own water and some food. As far as I could tell, the hotel is not within walking distance to any markets or restaurants. With all this taken into consideration, the hotel itself deserves 5 stars. It was a pleasant stay."
