It's conveniently located - close to shops, restaurants, movie theater, and the public beach in Old Forge, as well as hiking trails within walking distance or a short drive. Also very close to McCauley Mountain for skiing and mountain biking. The cottage was super clean from top to bottom. Check-in/out was easy and the owners were easy to contact if/when needed."

"We are a family of four with two children, ages 6 and 9. We enjoyed our two nights at this cabin. The upstairs bedroom configuration was fun for the kids. A little bit of Netflix and PBS kids when it was particularly rainy over the weekend, as well as the suitcase-full of games the kids brought with us. We weren't able to hike Bald Mntn as planned because of the rain, but the home's location was well settled in low-traffic side streets that permitted us to get in a nice walk/hike when the rain broke for a few hours. "

"The cabin was top notch, clean, quiet setting, nice get away. Smaller room by the bathroom has a soft mattress and the Florida type room has a firm mattress. If flying in needing to rely on Ubers or food delivery, this isn't the place. I was barely able to get an Uber back out. Otherwise I'd absolutely rent again but only if I drive myself or rent a car. "
