"We enjoyed our stay at Scenery Cottage. It is in a lovely quiet spot, perfect for exploring Dartmoor with some great walking from the front door. Wood burner a great bonus. Local pub much recommended. Andy, the owner was very thoughtful, and quick to try and rectify any problems."

"Pond cottage was ideallic, surrounded by beautiful countryside and gardens. The facilities were fantastic and the cottage well insulated. Ducks and geese were fun to watch and little squirrels hopping around the garden. "

"The property fulfilled all our needs. It was comfy and quiet. Unfortunately on the last night our car, with French registration, was scraped all along the side. Clearly, parking in a public square makes one more vulnerable to such incidents. In every other way the cottage was beautifully positioned close to the church, and not far from the pub and village shop. Although we had cold, grey weather, we enjoyed ourselves very much."

"The property is huge, with 23 of us staying, there was ample room for us all to eat together, at in the living room and loads of bedrooms including an accessible ground floor bedroom which we needed. The family style bedrooms really suited us with small kids in tow. Garden and location is absolutely beautiful and the hot tub is a lovely addition. The property is a little dated in terms of decor but it suited us space wise and we had absolutely everything we needed. We had a fabulous weekend...

"Lovely double-height living area, enough room for a family of five for a week. Well-equipped kitchen, with slate floors throughout the downstairs. Nicely finished upstairs, although headroom is a bit tight in places. Good shower downstairs, but we did find the water was a bit too hot coming out of the taps, so we had to be careful, particularly with the kids, when washing hands etc. Upon arrival we felt that much of the kitchen stuff needed a wash before use, as it was a bit greasy. "I wish I can stay more time. Is a peace of heaven on earth, and all the family members are kind , the house is clean , and have everything you need for sleep and stay, the only thing I missed is maybe a basics , like a little oil bottle, coffe, for example. But anyway are a lovely places around . We will come back for sure. "
