The Cook's Wall Cabin

This small L-shaped cabin has a comfy queen sized bed, a couch in a sitting area, and a kitchenette. There is a very small bathroom with a shower. It has a screened covered porch for your morning coffee or a meal at the end of your hiking, climbing, biking, zip-lining, kayaking or tubing. The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster oven, a small crock-pot, coffee maker, an electric griddle, as well as a gas grill outdoors with a burner. It is furnished with pots, pans, dishes, coffee, creamer, sugar, salt and pepper and utensils. We have a strong internet connection for work or entertainment.
Enjoy a private fire at your own fire pit and a beautiful view of the mountain from our gazebo. Sit and relax near one of our two water features . We share a yard but are happy to have you enjoy all our property has to offer.
We are 9 miles from the Hanging Rock Park entrance, less than a mile from Neatman Creek Disc Golf Course, 5 miles from Carolina Ziplines and 20 minutes to Pilot Mountain State Park, Pilot Mountain and Jolo Wineries, Midsummer Brewery, Danbury and Dan River Company (kayaking and canoes), less than 1/2 mile from Snyder's Barn. We are 30 minutes from Winston Salem for dining and arts! Go to hangingrock.com for information about activities in the area.

The property was beautiful and the cabin was thoughtfully decorated and well maintained. It was a great touchdown spot ahead of my trip to Hanging Rock. Eric made check in easy and was a great host with great recomendations for food and hiking. I was only there 1 night by myself but would love to come back with the family for a longer visit.

The property was lovely and the cabin was clean and neat. The bed was super comfy. We only stayed one night while in the area for a wedding and it eas perfect for our needs. Eric and his wife were welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

We stayed because we hiked Pilot Mountain and visited the hanging rock state park. It was close to both places and also the Jolo winery. It was our birthdays and the owners put sparklers and two little cakes in our room!

Cute and comfy little house. Thoughtfully prepared for guests with even tasty snacks for guests. Beautiful area as well and close to Hanging Rock state park. Only challenge was the small bathroom. But the overall package was worth it!

Awesome Spot close to Hanging Rock
My husband and I had a fantastic weekend staying at Eric and Karen’s little cabin. It was the perfect place for us to unwind and get outdoors. Hanging Rock is very close by, and you have a great view of the impressive Cooks Wall from their backyard. I can’t thank them enough for their kindness and hospitality and for sharing their beautiful place. We hope to return very soon!

Great spot for a quick getaway to Hanging Rock
Spent the day hiking then checked in for a quiet night. Owners were great and had firewood ready to go for a campfire. Bed was very comfy. The house had everything I needed for one night. Enjoyed yoga on the screened in porch. Not far from the park's visitor's center/entrance.
