"We stayed here while watching our son's college baseball games. Quiet neighborhood which is walkable to many locations (i.e Friday Farmer's Market at Udall Park) and a great area if you are a walker or runner. Can easily get to many things within 10 minutes. The house set-up was perfect for four of us and it has a nice patio to sit at during the evening. Will definitely stay here if we are in Tucson again!"

"A group of friends and I recently stayed at the Woodland Road 1882 Historic Ranch for an annual golf trip. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. All eight of us had our own private room with all the amenities as well as a number of common areas to meet in the morning and after our rounds in the evening. Each night Kristen had a bon fire prepared for us to light along with additional wood to keep the fun and banter going into the evening. I highly recommend this location for golfing around the Tucson area. It was comfortable, private, and nicely appointed. It was still a little cold in March to take full advantage of an awesome pool area. However, there is a gym and game room that kept everyone as busy as they wanted. Everyone agreed that this set a new bar for our group in terms of lodging for our golf trips. We are all looking forward to coming back next year and playing a few different courses. Kristen is a fantastic host. She is very responsive and any request or question we had was accommodated or answered quickly. Thank you! "

"Comfortable stay with delicious breakfasts. Sally greets you at check in with an afternoon snack, gives you a tour, and shows you everything about your room and the common spaces. The property is gorgeously nestled in the desert with a spacious patio/ pool area and stunning views. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Location was a great launch point for visits to Mount Lemmon, Saguaro National Park East, and Sabino Canyon. There’s an afternoon snack awaiting you in your room each day and a nice breakfast each morning with Sally and the other guests (there are only 3 rooms so it’s a nice small group). If you’re looking for an impersonal, corporate hotel experience, this is likely not for you, but if you’re open to meeting a lovely, interesting person and staying at a delightful property, Cactus Cove is a gem. One small note: In the room we stayed (Ocotillo room), the inside shower is the French style handheld associated with the jacuzzi tub (would be challenging if you are mobility-limited) and the American style stand up shower is outside in your private courtyard. We used the outside shower on a particularly chilly morning and it was still comfortable because we let the water warm up first. We travel a lot internationally so these quirky features were comfortable for us, but may be a bit surprising for travelers accustomed to corporate hotels in the US. We loved our stay and hope to return in the future."

"Apartment seemed to be one of three very well converted outbuildings on an old farm. Everything one could need, very beautifully appointed and thoughtfully supplied. "

"I loved birding on the nearby Pantano Wash every morning. This property is close to Sabino Canyon and Mount Lemmon, and not too far from the east side of Saguaro National Park, all places we enjoyed exploring and hiking. There are lots of restaurants nearby and other conveniences - grocery stores, drug stores, etc. - nearby. The property was nice; we enjoyed sitting in the sunny courtyard during the day and soaking in the hot tub later on. One day while we were eating breakfast outdoors, a roadrunner wandered through! The unit was nicely furnished and well equipped. The owner was very responsive, and there was a person who was often onsite (Heidi) who was also very helpful."
