"We spent a couple of fantastic days here. The staff, service & facilities were great. We used the pool (great views) as well as the fitness room. You can walk round the Skywalk as often as you like. They arranged a long boat trip from the nearby pier. 4 hours zooming around, visiting multiple islands including the floating island as well as “James Bond” island. Just remember that the entrance fee to the national park is 300 bhat per person on top of the boat trip. There’s not that much close by so the hotel is really the only option for drinks or dining. That said the food at the hotel was great with multiple menu options. "

"The property offered a clean and safe place to sleep. It is indeed very simple. My room had a pot for steaming water, but no in room coffee or tea. The price was very reasonable, and reflected the no frill option. For me, Id be willing to up the budget next time for more on site ammenities. The Simple represents good value for a no frills stay."

"As the name says, it's location gives a very 'good view' of the beautiful Phang Nga bay. The rooms have this spectacular view and you don't need to go to the actual viewpoint. The staff is very hospitable and happy to be there. Corina is the super woman running things there. Mysuri is a barista with some flair. We had a great stay and would love to be there again."

"Wonderful 5 day stay at Purana for our honeymoon. The people who staff the resort are so very friendly and helpful. A highlight was the boat trip to Kong Island and also riding around the island in the resort’s Honda scooter with sidecar. "

"This is one of our favorite stops in many many years of traveling. First of all we have to give major gratitude to Soisuda, who we affectionately nicknamed “Auntie” because she always made sure we had everything we needed, cooked amazing breakfasts, and set up one of the most phenomenal tours we have ever been on. She arranged transportation from and to two different destinations for us. We told her we didn’t want do a very touristy tour of the bay, and she arranged for us to visit all the hidden natural spots that were world class without any crowds at all great price. Hidden beaches, sea caves, nonstop adventure and we had these places all to ourselves! Exactly what we wanted! The rooms are very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The Wi-Fi is great as we work on the road! There are coffee shops, restaurants, local vendors, and a 7 Eleven within an easy walking distance. The temple in town rivals cathedrals in Paris in my opinion. The people all around the homestay were so friendly and would cheer us on as we ran in the mornings. 10 out of 10 Hostess and 10 out of 10 special experience! We’ll be back! "
