"Beautifully decorated and absolutely clean. The breakfast was good. The only fault that I can point out would be that the coffee was very weak and not at all plentiful. No milk or cream was offered. Our host was quite pleasant if not engaging. "

"This suited us perfectly. It is a large property with plenty of room for six adults. The main attraction for us was the pool as the weather was very good all week so we spent a lot of time by the pool. The house was very well equipped with a sizeable outdoor table for eating at and a barbecue which we used frequently. We also used the badminton and table tennis.The shops were not too far away but we needed a car to get there. We also did some cycling but it there were quite a few hills which was ok for us because we do a lot of cycling. Marielle and Christian who hosted the property were delightful on our arrival and made us feel most welcome. They were available via WhatsApp throughout our stay to answer any questions we had. The location for us was perfect and we would definitely consider returning to the property in the future. Thank you Marielle and Christian! "

"From the moment we entered the grounds we were so impressed. All the women that worked there were so kind, helpful and welcoming. The room itself was modern, spacious and spotless. We had beautiful views of the grounds from the bedroom and bathroom. The bed was the most comfortable bed we’d slept on. Such an amazing way to start our first trip to the south of France. We would definitely come back!"

"This is a stunning property with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The reality is even more impressive than the photos! Marssac sur Tarn is only a short walk away with three small supermarkets, a bar-restuarant, an excellent butcher, bakeries, and a wine merchant among others. So, if you're looking for a quiet retreat in a welcoming small town, you don't actually need to venture very far at all. The owners were also extremely helpful and friendly. We forgot to bring bed linen but they were able to provide this. They even gave us a lift from the train station on arrival! The gite and owners were both perfect. I would suggest though that the 500 euro damage deposit payable on arrival is made clearer in the advert. Whilst this is a commonplace practice in France, it may not be expected by overseas visitors. It didn't present an issue for us and was refunded very promptly at the end of our stay, but it could present an issue for someone who is not expecting it and doesn't have banking on their smartphone for instance."

"First I need to warn the readers to not use Apple Maps to get there because it will bring you to some random place on the other side of Toulouse. The chateau is out in the country side. It is a pretty building with beautiful grounds and the apartment we stayed in was very spacious, recently renovated with a terrific view of the adjacent county. The breakfast was typical French. What surprised us at the beginning was that it is also a retirement community. There are several adjacent buildings for the retirees and I think the chateau is used only as a hotel. We have not seen that before but it wasn’t really a problem and we enjoyed talking to some of them at breakfast. About a mile or two away there is a town where you can find restaurants and other shops. It’s about 20 minutes away from the center of Toulouse. So if you are looking for a peaceful place, i strongly recommend it."
