Updated house with modern accents ideal for 2-4 people looking to fish, head to Galveston, Kemah or the Texas City Dike. Located on Palmer Ave. aka "the main drag”, means this location can’t be beat! Perfect location
The house was clean and perfect for our stay. We came down there to fish the bay. The town had some nice places to eat as well. We really enjoyed the stay.

Texas City Levee Visit
My friend and I wanted to get away for a weekend and visit Texas City. This was the cutest little house in the downtown area, and it was really close to everything we wanted. Everything was exactly as stated in the description, and the entire process was easy!

Some suggestions
1.Would like access to washer and dryer. 2. May want to consider putting a non slip mat in the shower and some kind of bar to hold onto. 3. Rug in bathroom to step out of shower 4. Refund damage insurance if nothing is damaged.

We were at this location due to my husbands job. We were very disappointed with our stay. To begin with it states in the amenities that it has a hot tub, washer and dryer. It does not have a hot tub(spa whirlpool). We could not find the washer and dryer. I messaged the host but he stated that it did not say hot tub but hot water. It clearly says hot tub. He said that he would contact the house keeping and get them to unlock the access door for the washer and dryer. I explained that we were going to have to wash our towels and clothes. The next day house keeping had not shown up so I messaged the host again. He stated once again that he would contact house keeping to come unlock the door. The next day we were out of clean towels and clothes so we decided to go ahead and leave a day early. I messaged him to let him know we were leaving due to not being able to wash the towels and clothes. He stated then that access to the washer and dryer was only given to extended guests and that it was extra towels in a drawer. It was no drawer and he failed to tell me that the access to the washer and dryer was for extended guests the first two times I messaged him. I have a copy of the amenities listed and the messages to and from the host. Will be glad to post if necessary. Perhaps the host/owner should change the amenities to include no hot tub and washer/dryer access to extended guests only. Had I known this I would have stayed at another house.

Place was cute. Communication with host was not great. He seemed to have an attitude
Place itself was cute and location was great although beds were very uncomfortable and springy and pillows were flat. The couch was more comfortable. There were a couple of roaches. But what i didn't like was the communication with the host. He claimed to have called me all day to give me a different code than what was provided after booking. But it was only one missed call and it was during while i was still driving (i live 5 hours away). And there was miscommunication somewhere when he said the ac guy was there at the house while we were at the beach and i said ok will he be long because we will be on our way back and we dont want to deal with anyone else in the house since ac was working fine when we got there. He then said the guy left i said ok. But we got back to the house and a man shows up. The point is to just have our peace and not deal with random people. Honestly the total price paid (so said under market value) was the same as other places because theres also a charge per person and additional insurance. I should have picked something else for my family.

The property is approx 25-30 min drive to the beach which was fine. The property was very nice and the property manager was great.

Cute little home-great value for the price
Cute little home off a slightly busy street. You will hear sirens from police station, but it wasn’t too frequent. Great park across the street and even though visiting NASA, Galveston and Natural History Museum in Houston, this was a great location to be away from all the hustle and bustle. Bedding, towels and cooking/utensils all were included. Beds were ok-I am glad we always travel with our own pillows. We would stay again. For this price point, it was a steal! Why stay in a hotel when you can have your own home to come to in the evening!
