"We booked in to stay while attending an event nearby, and the location was perfect to get to and from it easily. The staff at the hotel were exceptionally attentive and good-humoured, which made us feel really welcomed. It was an easy check-in, helped by the fact that you can do some of it online. The place was a bit of a maze of corridors when you went up to find your room, which took a bit of getting used to when it came to navigating. "Stayed 4 times in 2 weeks whilst working in the area and found the hotel to be just perfect. Dining was a pleasure, staff were great and room was comfy and well equipped. Would defo stay here again"

"Very friendly and helpful service all the way through our stay. Lovely outdoors area to eat or have a drink. Very comfortable nights sleep and a great breakfast the next morning. We would absolutely use the hotel again."

"Very old historic building with lots of character. Room large, bed comfy, coffee machine and biscuits but no bottled water. Good shower, good breakfast included cooked to order. Staff friendly and helpful. WiFi rubbish, TV not great but was cool that it was hidden in the panelled wall. Short walk to paid parking. Overall a positive stay, would stay again. "

"Quirky! Low ceilings, uneven floors, very old building. Landlord is friendly, as are the staff. Good breakfasts! Live music some evenings. Enjoyed the stay. Very convenient for visiting my mum!"

"I had a lovely stay at The Red Cow, this place is a real gem! The building and rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The staff were very attentive and friendly & the food I had was so good! Lovely local charm in the bar area with friendly faces welcoming me in. If I find myself needing to stay in this area again, I will without doubt be returning. Wonderful little inn. "

"We arrived later than we had planned but received a warm welcome from the hosts. We had the family room which is a good size, well decorated, warm and comfortable. The accomodation was spotless. We didnt eat there but will need to be in Cambridge in aroun 6 months time, so hoping we can stay again. Great value for money. Highly recommended. "

"The restaurant/bar was really modern and comfortable. The breakfast was great and plenty of choice. The room was very nice although a little dark but coped. The down side was there was no hot water for a shower either in the morning or evening. The other thing missing was biscuits to go with the drinks and our tea bags was never replenished so went without. We could have gone downstairs and asked them to be replaced but other places we have stayed at they are replenished daily. The positive...
