"Almost didn’t book The Hostel because I thought it was a hostel, turns out it isn’t anymore (not for ~20yrs). It was at one time, and started off as an affordable spot for families in the 60’s at the same time the tram and mangey moose were built (for only $10 a night). Not that there is anything wrong with hostels, but I was with my teenage son and wanted something quiet, clean and private for our couple of days at Jackson. Turns out The Hostel is perhaps the most perfect spot at Jackson with just the necessities you need to maximize your experience at the resort with only a couple minute walk to the Tram! Not only is it affordable, but it’s quiet, convenient, clean, comfortable and has an awesome vibe that makes it the ideal spot for those who would gladly take “no frills” accommodations for the most perfect location in the Village. The rooms have been updated with an industrial and minimalist design that punches above its pay grade for the village. While it would have been nice to have a hot tub, I’d gladly take the Ski tuning room, game room, cost savings and awesome vibe in exchange. I’ll definitely be back! "

"Our room (1) was warm, had a nice shower (no tub) and had abig closet with enough hangers. Everything worked, the bed was comfy and the neighbors quiet. There is no staff on site. You get a code to enter your room via text. For some reason the text called our room HKN1 causing unnecessary confusion. Take this into account if you may need staff assistance. The location is outside the village and is not very walkable to food or shopping."

"This was amazing! All the staff was great! The front desk team stood out the most. I did forget some names but they were all amazing!!! Two guys and a blonde woman. I think one of the guys names was Robert. All around 10/10. The text line with the team was so easy and one of the best highlights and a great way to communicate to the team for whatever we or they needed or requested. This visit was amazing! The serving staff and bar staff was above and beyond!! "
