"This is a charming property with great potential for larger groups and ideally located. However, the property unfortunately isn't treated as it deserves to be. It lacks central heating and the two bathrooms date back to the 1960's. The kitchen is well equipped and matrasses are all new, the living room is very very basic. The garden isn't well kept either with bushes obstructing the sea view. We nonetheless had a great time, but won't be returning."

"This is a beautiful house in a lovely town on the Normandy coast. We came to see some of the D-Day landing sites and beaches and as a group of adults really appreciated the size of the house and the fact that all the bedrooms were pretty equal in size with modern bathrooms. The garden is also very pretty and secluded. We spent a lovely few days in this very gentle part of the world and hope to come back again soon. "Quiet situation. The house is on quite a narrow impasse and the gate is not enormous. Anyone with a car larger than ours (Skoda Yeti 1m 75 cm wide) could find it a bit tight getting in and out. There are some parking spaces round the corner. All contact was with the concierge, timely and professional. The sea-facing terrace also faces north and can be bracing, but the one overlooking the garden is quite a sun-trap, and sheltered. There is adequate shopping in Asnelles with a small Carrefour...

"The house was very modern and new. The room arrangements were good for our group. One bedroom en-suite was on the ground floor which was nice. The house is outside the bustle of Caen but an easy drive to get there. Plus, grocery stores and restaurants were just a few minutes away. "A beautiful, spacious house in a secluded, peaceful setting. The property was spotlessly clean and equipped to a very high standard. The host was friendly, welcoming and proactive before and during our stay. The location is wonderfully quiet, but remains within easy reach of the towns and sights of the area.
