"Rooms and furniture out dated , small. Of tobacco present , far from the city if you have a car it is ok and quiet . We had to pay for a breakfast and coffee took advantage of us and very poor quality food . Staff were not nice at all , I don’t recommend this hotel at all "

"Room had everything we needed including comfy chairs and table on balcony. Also a clothes drier too. Well stocked complimentary hot & cold drinks. Nicely presented and good choice of food for breakfast with fantastic views of sea & mountains. Owner & Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Very good location for old town & ancient city. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at Sunprime. Loved ground floor room around pool although it was very shaded by trees. End of season so very quiet and pool bar closed. Quite alot of maintenance noise in the morning. Cleaner knocked too early at 9am. Bed very comfortable. Was woken up in the middle of night by a bright sensor light shining in the room and howling cries outside by the pool which appeared to be people praying very loudly. It was quite scary and no idea what was going on. Loved...

"The location is lovely, and why I chose the hotel, quiet and overlooking the river. Staff welcome and friendliness was not present. Room nice and overlooking river, but only a light cotton bedspread and no sheet, no spare blanket in the closet. When I checked out I had to remind them that I needed to pay, he gave me a conversion of the Euro cost and I paid by card. "My family and I stayed at Barut Hemera during the low season in February. I was concerned about the amenities as our vacation was during winter, but the hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of restaurant options, activities and hospitality services. Our kids, 9 and 15, had a relaxing time, spending time at the pool, the sauna and the Turkish hamam. Every meal was amazing with lots of options across cuisines. We also enjoyed the a la cart seafood restaurant called Sandal, which offered a great feast. Lastly, every single employee at the hotel was warm, accommodating and with a simle on their faces. Barut Hemera is going to be on top of our list for our next vacation in Turkish south. "

"This was a wonderful three day stay for me and my friend. The staff were all so kind and helpful, the location was perfect, literally a 30 second walk away from the private beach, which was also staffed by a lovely gentlemen who checked on us frequently, cracked jokes and you can also order drink to the beach too. Plenty of dining options surrounding you and Club Karma was a 15min walk away if that’s your vibe, a fantastic outside club. 15min walk away from the old town and harbour where we took a $5 1hr boat trip, absolute bargain. You can also walk to the Apollon Temple which was beautiful. No need to book a tour as it’s free to see the temple and take pictures. Honestly I will definitely be coming back and recommending this hotel and location."

"Brand new for 2024, this ultra all-inclusive resort hotel was an excellent choice for our recent holiday to Side. It is situated on the edge of the town in a quiet area, with access to a private section of beach a short bus ride or 15 minute walk away. At the beach, there is all inclusive drinks, sun loungers, ice creams and lunch cooked to order. Back at the hotel, there is a strong air of luxury, with beautiful decor and a grand open lobby area. There is a 24 hour bar, a 24 hour coffee shop and patisserie, two a la cart restaurants, a large buffet restaurant with plentiful choices of well-prepared fresh food, a poolside takeaway area, a pool bar and several other outdoor cooking locations. There are plentiful events, ranging from evening bingo and live music, to a foam party! The staff are highly attentive, although sometimes too busy during dinner to provide a drinks service. The rooms are large, well equipped and kept very clean by the housekeeping team, who also refill the complimentary minibar daily. You will not go wrong choosing this hotel"

"This hotel says it is a 4* but it is not to any UK standard. On the plus side - it is quite new and the rooms were very clean and modern and the bus service to the beach is also good. It's a 30 minute walk into Side or 20 minutes to the beach. The pool was nice and clean (but cold) However, there were never enough sunbeds or tables and chairs. All inclusive only covers limited drinks and apart from beer these were quite poor. The food sadly, was not so good. Lots of choice but cooked and left out without heat and they got cold quickly. We did not have a warm meal. The outside BBQ was better but unless you got it as it was cooked it was soon cold. Entertainment was provided on 2 nights but again nowhere to sit and extremely noisy until late. Many rooms overlook the stage and sleep was impossible on those nights. The beach bar closed at 5pm for some reason. Pool towels were given one per day but could not be changed even if wet. The staff tried to keep it nice and it was spotlessly clean but really not a luxury hotel. "
