"Il Nido offers wonderful views in a very private setting. It is a 12 minute drive to Fivizzano so you’ll want to plan your groceries for the stay. There are hiking trails accessible right at the entrance gate. The host is very accommodating. If want a peaceful and relaxing stay this is a great choice."

"The home is a beautiful Italian villa. It is extremely well equipped with everything one needs. The accomodations are very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen is large and fully equipped for everything you will need. The pool area is amazing but the water is a little cool. Amazing views from the home in every corner of the property. "Absolutely wonderful. It was what I imagined a Tuscan Villa would be and more. It is private with spectacular views. The inside is roomy and comfortable with beautiful vaulted wood ceilings throughout. The kitchen was well equipped with everything I could think of. The pool is great with a gate that keeps children safe. The terraces with cushioned seating were perfect for lounging. The beds were very comfortable. Nice washer and clothes line. "Beautiful well appointed flat in the middle of Lucca! Steps away from all of th sites and sounds of the city! Kitchen, terrace, bedrooms /bathrooms were all pristine! Only complaint was contractors on scaffolding right outside the terrace and kitchen windows…..and the elevator was out of service for a 5th floor flat. A pre-arrival notification would have been appreciated as we would have attempted to find an alternate location without the walk up."
