"The food was adequate. The rose was warm. The bar closed the minute the guests left. Felt pushed out. Beautiful location and hotel when we found it. Rooms were good. However we felt it was more a good club than an hotel."

"This is a very nice, well-kept property. The room was very nice, and the staff were very accommodating to our needs. There are potentially a lot of steps up and down on the property to get to one's room, so handicapped persons might experience some difficulty. The immediate area around the hotel is quiet, so moving one's car to load and unload luggage wasn't a problem, but the parking lot is small and down the hill from the hotel. The restaurant on site was very nice and the food was good."

"We have thought hard about this review because the people that run the hotel are very nice people who are very welcoming. Despite the language barrier Ginette was great and spoke better English than we did French. However, the issues were with the room itself. When we entered the room it actually looked great with the bedroom being separate and up one flight of stairs but there was a damp musty smell that we thought may have just been from being closed. "A nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Located in a quiet village. The bathroom facilities in the room I was in (No3), was a little bijou and compact, though it did the job. Good wifi connection. Limited on site free parking in a very tight courtyard."

"Novel experience having Bed&Breakfast in former stables. The refurbishment had been done to a high standard with attractive decor. "We had a lovely stay at this property, which is located in a peaceful area. The property was very clean, well equipped, spacious and well presented. The owner was welcoming and helpful. It was well situated for exploring the area (easy access to the main roads)."

"The property is located about a 25 minute walk away from Caen city centre. The surrounding area is very quiet and safe with lots of delicious patisseries very close by ( highly recommend trying). The room has everything you need, is very comfortable, clean and air-conditioned. The hotel has an area for workouts, with 3 pieces of aerobic equipment. This room is not like a normal gym, it is carpeted with chairs and tables in ( presumably for those waiting to use the spa?) with no ac ( that I found). But can easily do a workout in there. The hotel has private parking. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast, which has everything youd expect from a continental breakfast. The staff are all lovely and very welcoming. Highly recommend."

"Basic hotel but very affordable for our budget. There is a McDonald's across the street and easy access to the freeway. Breakfast is 12 Euros which is not cheap for what you get. U need a car for this hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Its a good base to explore Normandy without staying at an expensive hotel closer to the D Day Beaches. There is a Lidl a short distance away. I would stay here again if I have a vehicle. "
