The 200m² vacation villa "Casa de Vilar Peneda Gerês Natura" is located in Vilar Terras de Bouro, in northern Portugal. The villa consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 3 bedrooms as well as 3 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 6 people. The villa also features Wi-Fi (suitable for video calls), air conditioning, satellite television, a DVD player, and a washing machine. Children are allowed and a baby bed and a highchair are available.

Guests can enjoy the beautiful mountain view while relaxing outdoors in the furnished garden of sunning on the covered terrace, both for private use. The outdoor area also features a pool with showers and a grill, all for private use.
The villa is located in a quiet location near the mountains and the Peneda-Gerês Natural Park, and is also close to a river beach and 2 dams (the Vilarinho das Furnas and the Rio Caldo) and therefore offers water sports and nature tourism. The villa is a 7 to 15 minute (3.3 to 15.5 km) drive from a restaurant, a cafe, a bar, and a supermarket. Porto Airport is a 1 hour and 15 minute (84 km) drive from the villa.

Fabulous villa, fabulous area, wonderful host
This is such a lovely property, really roomy, well equipped and everything works. The view from the pool is gorgeous, so even when you are in, you feel like you are out. You are really close to Terras De Bouro with all the amenities you need. And the surrounding area is just stunning - lovely river swimming near by and if you strike out only an hour down the road is the amazing national park or Soajo all well worth a visit. It was too hot to do serious walking for us but we hope to go at a different time of year because the walking looks amazing too. What made our stay particularly special was our host, Jose. He was very attentive and kind and so eager to ensure we had everything we need. We felt totally comfortable asking for advice or telling him if we needed anything, he made our stay very special. This is a highly recommended place - we'd give it ten stars if we could.

Nesta casa o acordar com o som dos passarinhos, contemplar a imensidão e calma das montanhas enquanto estamos na piscina e jantar a ver o sol desaparecer por trás do vale são complementados com a simpatia e disponibilidade do Sr. José numa casa onde temos tudo o que é preciso. 10/10

Pros: Super Haus mit toller Ausstattung. Die Hanglage im Dorf Vilar gibt eine atemberaubende Aussicht auf das Tal des Rio Homem. In Terras de Bouro gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants, Aktivitäten z.B. am Cávado-Stausee oder verschiedene Wandertouren sind mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Muito Obrigado!

Pros: A proximité du parc Pénada-Geres, cette maison spacieuse permet d'accueillir toute une famille dans des conditions parfaites. Entre maison traditionnelle et espace contemporain, les agencements sont fonctionnels. L'espace nuit comprend une salle d'eau par chambre et la chambre parentale est particulièrement spacieuse. Une grande piscine chauffée de 10m de long est la cerise sur le gâteau ! Pour la chambre parentale, il n'y a pas de rideaux au plafond (conforme aux photos). Si vous ne pouvez dormir que dans le noir absolu, cela peut être contraignant. José est à votre disposition si vous avez un soucis ou des conseils pour visiter les environs. Malheureusement, nous n'avons pas pu faire de randonnées comme souhaité suite aux terribles incendies de 2017. Mais nous étions ravis de passer plus de temps dans la maison :-) Et Porto n'est pas très loin (1h15 pour 3.25€ d'autoroute). Nous recommandons vivement cette magnifique maison.
