"We had the most incredible stay at the Griya Villas! It is truly one of the most beautiful and luxurious properties I have ever stayed at. The views and grounds are absolutely breathtaking. The staff consistent go above and beyond, they are so on top of all of your needs! The food is delicious, I could go on and on! "

"We loved our 3 bedroom villa with a private pool. Very nice, clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms. Our floating breakfast experience was amazing! The staff were pleasant and provided great customer service. The staff will take you to your villa with a golf cart- very cool! I will definitely stay here again! Great place!"

"The beautiful view with the infinity pool was very relaxing and it was easy to ask for a taxi to local beaches and restaurants. The taxi is a seat without seat belt or helmet in the back of a small truck, on some rough roads but if you can handle that, bring cash for a great stay. There was plenty of bottled spring water supplied too"

"Kubu Sakian Villa is a dream place to stay. Nestled in rice paddy fields in the mountainous jungles of Sidemen, this place is elegant, gorgeous, and comfortable. "Our favorite stay in and around Bali! We have been traveling around Indonesia for 3 months and this was our favorite place we stayed without question. Beautiful, comfortable, and the staff are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met! We wish we could have stayed longer!!!"

"Stayed in Serena Villa with our 12 & 10yr olds. The pool was amazing and clean. The view of the ocean amazing. Italian restaurant lovely. Hired scooters and zoomed around. Used snorkling gear at beach infront of resort - loads to see. Used Fresh Fins Diving for couple of drift dives. Can’t wait to go back!"

"Picture on hotel is not even the right place you gonna stay, no restaurants or bar on the place. 2 night on 4 we didn't have water in the room couldn't take a shower. Pool dirty and no area to chill or site around the pool. Owner didn't care about all that when ive spoke to him."

"Enjoyed our stay at the Villa Good facilities Great staff Good location 7 minutes walk to the lagoon and Gemini supermarket. We ate at all the hotels and resorts nearby and enjoyed them all "

"This property is on the most beautiful beach in the area. White sand beach leads to turquoise ocean with snorkelling right off the beach. The staff is warm and welcoming and our deck was 3 feet from the pool which overlooks the ocean a few steps below. It is located in a small quite village with many small restaurant but if you want more action many of the restaurants in Canadista will give you a ride there and back or you can have a driver take you for $4-5."

"The hotel boasts a distinctive design, with each reservation being allocated a bubble-shaped living space. The views during both sunrise and sunset are truly captivating. However, there are much needed areas for improvement. The bubble becomes uncomfortably warm during the day, even with the air conditioning at its maximum, and gets quite chilly at night, even without any cooling. "I was nervous after reading reviews and hearing there are only two giraffe breakfast spots daily, but I was quickly reassured upon arrival. A kind staff member explained we could still privately feed the giraffes, from the same spot as breakfast, for much less cost and with the same 1:1 experience. The Tsavo restaurant had delicious food and fantastic service, especially from Ayu (worked Dec 13-14). She treated us like friends, making our stay extra special. The buffet breakfast featured adorable animal-themed foods. We stayed in a Twiga room with a breathtaking view—better than my trip to Africa! The bed was huge, with an extra one for our daughter, and tossing carrots to wildebeests from our balcony was a highlight. Some reviews mentioned bugs, but we saw just one fly and a harmless bug—less than in my house during Australian summers. I had low expectations for the park itself but was blown away. The kids’ splash park, with multiple slides and pools, was almost empty, and even adults enjoyed the slides. The animal experiences were incredible; we fed and patted elephants and meerkats, and the park was so quiet it felt exclusive. The Lion Restaurant was so good the lions roar a lot and watch you eat haha. All the staff were lovely, despite some reviews calling them rude—I only saw staff being kind unless provoked by rude guests. My skeptical husband was won over, and we can’t recommend Mara River highly enough. Thank you for unforgettable memories!"
