"Our mattress was broke so we were rolling towards the middle of the bed the whole three days that we were there. Maintenance tried to fix it, but he said there wasn’t another mattress in the hotel and it was just super uncomfortable. The staff were super friendly amd the hotel was clean."

"We loved our stay at the Foxburg Inn! Extremely clean, lovely decor, great view of the river, comfy bed..I could go on and on. The gentleman that checked us in was very personable, friendly, and welcoming. The freshly made cinnamon rolls served at the continental breakfast were especially yummy! My husband, quite the coffee snob, said the coffee was good. We look foward to our next stay! "

"Wow, what an AMAZING and absolutely BEAUTIFUL place! I'd give it 10 stars! Immaculately clean, beyond beautiful, so comfortable, the perfect lake, husband loved the fishing, used the kayak and paddleboat, and did all the trails! We knew we want to come back the minute we walked in. There were homemade muffins too and we loved the homemade wine he makes there you can purchase! Such a gorgeous property. The pictures just cant give you the feel of its beauty. The fall leaves were awesome. There is a reason everyone gives it a 10! come back the minute we walked in "

"What a lovely house! The 3 of us came in just to visit Punxsutawney and fell in love with Smicksburg! We enjoyed our stay here so much and would definitely return. The check in was simple and parking in the back worked out great. The kitchen is enormous, stocked with plenty of utensils/dishes, soap, plastic wrap, salt/pepper shakers. There aren't many restaurants in the area, so making full use out of the kitchen was very helpful. In addition, there was a cute little coffee/tea setup, full water cooler, cold water in the fridge and a bunch of granola bars. Comfortable beds, lots of extra towels and every bedroom has a sound machine. Ceiling fans and AC kept things very convenient. Very impressed with the amenities and the free fudge they gifted us! The town of Smicksburg is so charming as well. Only a 20 minute drive from Punxy. The hosts provided great recommendations for local attractions, I highly recommend the Jimmy Stewart Museum and Sandfly Brewery! A very special house!"
