Templeton Vineyard Farmhouse in the Heart of Wine Country

Visit us during the Christmas season for an extra special Christmas experience. Cozy up around the fireplace and enjoy the festive atmosphere. 🎄
This quaint farmhouse with lots of sleeping space and outdoor amenities. This picturesque house sits on 20 acres of farmland and is surrounded by vineyards. The home has easy access to local wineries in the Templeton Gap District (Hansen Cab House and Bovino are across the street). The home was just renovated with new flooring, beds, mattresses, a fridge, a washer, and a dryer. The yard is getting a nice spruce up and new patio furniture so guests can enjoy our fabulous summer evenings.

Great house!
We had a great time staying at this house! It was very comfortable for our extended family of 7. The house was very spacious and we really enjoyed the outdoor living areas. The kitchen had everything we needed! A perfect place to stay while we were attending a wedding and touring Paso Robles area!

Everything was so beautiful, the house, the location, we will definitely be coming back for a longer visit so we can enjoy the area. We were in town for a wedding so it was a short trip, but everything was lovely and I can’t wait to come back!

Family Getaway in Paso
We loved our stay at the farmhouse! Fantastic amenities, plenty of room for folks to stretch out, grab a glass of wine and relax. If your family are also animal lovers you definitely don't want to miss staying at the farmhouse!

My husband and I, two adult children and their spouses were attending a family wedding. We had a wonderful stay. The home is lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and visiting the animals in the barn. Hope to return with grandchildren!

Fabulous Farmhouse
From the moment we opened the door, we knew it was the right choice for our much needed friends get away! We loved sitting outside early morning drinking coffee and watching the sunset with a glass of wine. So much to do in the area and we were surprised how fun the olive oil tasting was. Super spot for four old friends celebrating. We loved walking the property and interacting with all the animals. Although it is a little farther from restaurants than we would have liked, the beautiful outdoor space made up for it. I would definitely recommend this farmhouse.

LOVE THIS HOME!
The house is beautiful and very clean. We had the best time, and we would love to stay there again. I highly recommend this house. The grounds are heavenly, and our dogs had the best time. The location is perfect. The owners were wonderful and so nice to deal with. Rating is A+ all the way. Thank you for the bottle of wine and it was so kind of you to bring over the portable table so we could play cards.

House was such a great central location and so quiet We enjoyed the space Plenty of dishes, towels, space Cat allergies - barn cats love attention Kitchen - could use a few more serving bowls Winery next door had work going on in the middle of the night for several hours - not sure how often that occurs Overall for 4 friends the house was wonderful!

Our friends and I had the best time at this amazing farmhouse. Everything was great from the farm animals to the jacuzzi. There was no shortage of amenities or things to do here. We cannot say enough good things about this place! We would definitely love to come back!!!

Beautiful place to stay near Paso Robles!
What a great location! Great home on a beautiful property! Three generations (my husband & I, our adult children, and my Mom) in town for a wedding at a nearby winery - and we all loved staying here. Ashley was at the door literally within 2 minutes when we had a question when checking in. Spotlessly clean home with plenty of room to relax and super comfy beds in each of the bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in wine country! Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

Great Place close to wineries
We had us, some friends, our 3 month old baby, our mom and two doggies with us this trip and the house was accommodating for all of us! Super spacious house, fenced yard, nice spa! Got to see some animals as well. The weather was pretty poor for our trip and the poor went out. The host was very helpful and sent over a message with tips to help us out without us even having to reach out! Would love to come back here next time we are in Paso!

Getaway in the wine country
This property was fresh yet quaint, a very relaxing place to stay with friends. We enjoyed the various seating areas, inside and out. It was spacious and designed well. The house was close to several vineyards for wine tasting or other events. We attended a wedding 4 miles away at a vineyard. Very easy to return back to the house. Fun 50th weekend
My sister and I were looking for a place near the area wineries to celebrate her 50th birthday with her best friends. I found Rustic Roots and it was clearly the perfect choice for four adults. Modern convenience in a beautifully decorated, well-spaced setting. A comfy bedroom for each of us. Wonderful places to chat and catch up in the sitting area, around the fire pit, in the hot tub and around the kitchen island. And easy drive to the Templeton wineries and a bit further to Paso Robles. The property with barn and fields are lovely and peaceful and so picturesque. We are already checking our calendars for a return trip!

Country living
Enjoyed waking up early morning having coffee and listening to farm animals. Walking to the stables and beautiful sunsets were so relaxing. The house itself was all as advertised. What we didn’t like was the dirty floor, counters and cobwebs under every toe kick. The local cat was friendly but was a nuisance and fought with our dog and wouldn’t leave the backyard. We cut our stay short because the final straw was mice in living room. Tried to shoo them out and in doing so saw really how dirty behind entertainment center was. Mouse urine and feces all underneath. Understand that you are in the country but was kinda grossed out. Really needs a deep cleaning not just superficial. Loved the yard and hot tub but would not stay again. Sorry

4th of July Getaway 🎆🎇
Rustic Roots was absolutely what we all needed for our 4th of July wine tasting vacation! Not only was the home absolutely gorgeous, spacious, clean, and well stocked with items we needed for a comfortable stay, but the country feel and outdoor space was more than we could ask for. We had wine tasting appointments at a few of our favorite wineries and enjoyed them immensely, but we were always eager to come back to our “home away from home” at Rustic Roots! We were able to relax with our bottles of wine, enjoyed a dip in the hot tub, and played card games offered to us in the game cabinet. No need for television or cell phones as this property offered so much for us all…we were happy to escape the hustle and bustle of Sacramento and just veg. We happened to be there when there was a full moon and plenty of stars to be seen…we were able to capture a fireworks show from a distance as well! Thank you for offering this lovely home to us through vrbo! We look forward to staying here in the future!

Wonderful Wedding Weekend!
We just completed our stay at this beautiful property. This house was perfect for the wedding we attended in Creston. The location is ideal for visiting many vineyards, Morrow Bay, SLO and Atascadero too! The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you may need. The backyard's firepit and hot tub were the perfect place to gather with family. Friends and family stayed at several VRBOs, and all agreed that we had the nicest VRBO. We only wished for a few extra hangers because everyone had dressy clothes with them. The owners were very helpful, and the communication was flawless. As a bonus, we were able to visit the farm animals, including some adorable baby goats that live on the property.

Family Wedding
We loved our stay. The house was perfect to accommodate all of seven of us. Our host was quick to respond to our question. The grounds were perfect, and the kids loved the very friendly horses and farm animals. The house sits back a bit from the freeway, but it was worth the extra drive.
