Coach House Cottage in heart of wine region with vineyard views

Very cute and updated 1930’s cottage tucked in the middle of wine country under beautiful oak trees and rolling hills. This cottage has a full bath (double stalled shower), living room, full kitchen, and 1 bedroom with new queen size bed. Cottage has amazing views of local vineyards and is only 2 miles from town and 15 miles to the beach.

This cottage was originally built as a Carriage House in the 30's. Its a very unique, charming, quite, cozy place to stay. Ride your bike or drive to local winery's or take a 15 minute drive to the beach. We are right off Highway 46 West. Located in the 'Templeton Gap' you can escape the heat, guaranteed cooler weather here with a slight afternoon breeze from the coastal influence.

Free parking, outdoor space, BBQ, fir-pit and gorgeous views. Less then 1 mile from Paso Port, Hunt Cellars, Niner Wine Estates, 4 Lanterns, Tooth & Nail, Venteux, Lone Madrone Winery, Shale Oak Winery, Red Soles Winery, Linne Calodo Cellars, Turley Wine Cellars and many more.

Owners live on property but your stay will be very private. We have ranch dogs, barn cats, horses and cattle (parts of the year).

Lovely little cottage
The Coach House Cottage was a great place to stay. Very well stocked and a charming ambiance inside and outside. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit Paso Robles.

My husband and I stayed 3 nts. What a unique little cabin, loved being in the forest of oak trees. Felt like we were in a wilderness getaway, but our favorite winery, Hunt Cellars, was literally across the street on Hwy 46. We will stay here again. :)

Wonderful property with everything you need. Right in the neighborhood west other several vineyards. Saw a newborn calf just after it was born on the property and heard a pack of coyotes howling at night in the distance while we sat by the fire

Cute little cabin, good for a couple visiting wine country. The mattress was not very comfortable, otherwise everything was great. They even supply s'mores ingredients for the outdoor fire pit.

Perfect Getaway Spot
We love Paso Robles and now we have a new home there too! This brand new renovated carriage house was the perfect place to get away for the weekend with my hubby and our two pooches. This place is the perfect size for a couple although I think there are plans in place to renovate a 2nd carriage house on this property which will make it a fun destination for families or couples looking to vacation together. Everything was super clean and the house has everything you could want for a trip to wine country including a complimentary bottle of red wine which we enjoyed with a grilled steak from the BBQ. Beautiful views of the local vineyards with plenty of shade from the trees. There are goats and chickens on the farm and we were thrilled to be able to get fresh eggs for our breakfast! We were left alone during our stay apart from the occasional visit from the farm pooches who were both adorable and got on well with our own two also. This house is also perfectly located right along Highway 46 from which you can access all the local wineries. We visited 7 during the 2 days that were there. Its also only about a 15 -20 min drive into the center of Paso Robles where we highly recommend you lunch at Thomas Hill Organic restaurant and buy cheese and local bread from Vivant Cheese. We also visited J&R Meats where we got amazing prime sirloin steaks that we grilled up on our last night. Amazing. We will back! I think the only thing that could make this place even better would be some kind of fire pit outside, particularly if we were to come back in the winter. Other than that, its perfect!

We had a lovely time at the Coach House Cottage. The setting is stunningly lovely and the cottage, while small, has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We very much enjoyed sitting outside with the firepit in the evening (and the gift of smores ingredients for the first night was a nice touch). We did take advantage of being in walking distance to nearby wineries, but would advise you that some of them involve walking a short way along a fairly busy high-speed road. One warning: if you're over 6' 4" (or, really, about 6' 2" or more) you will be in danger of banging your head in the cottage--especially when moving from the sitting room to the bedroom. I am 6' 4" and did bump my head a few times, but I still loved the place. The highlight for us was the very sweet black and white cat that came to visit us every evening--and in the morning when we were checking out.
