"The hotel was very nice. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel restaurant and both were delicious. Lots of pubs to walk in and out of within a couple of blocks. Met some of the locals and had a fun evening. "

"Old world charm meets comfortable stay. Only caveat would be lack of elevators to our room - so we got a bit of exercise hauling our luggage up the stairs. Not a big deal for us, but might give some others pause. Friendly staff, tasty breakfast options, good location for forays into nearby Ireland."

"Longcourt is a beauitful hotel in newcastle west, the staff are amazing, especially connor in the restaurant and Katrina in house keeping? Exceptional service, food was great and fresh and well worth trying, breakdast was bountiful and so so good, sending love to the chef, but what longcourt standout for is their care for the community, my sister is in eammon o connell house and the staff at longcourt support them when the need help, amazing and a well deserved thanks, Derek the manger should be very proud of his staff, from the breakdast young girls that work tirelessly and the rest of the staff, thank you and I will be returning."

It’s excellently located to all the best attractions in Kerry, and it’s perfectly situated in the country but close enough to Castleisland to make getting groceries and going to the local pub easy. The caretaker, Timmy, built a fire for us twice and a local man gave my Dad an autographed book of his own poetry. Absolutely perfect accommodation for a family trip."

"My husband and I enjoy quiet properties with good opportunities for walks. Having stores and a great restaurant within walking distance is even better. This property had all that and more. Views on all sides, quiet and so comfortable. Theresa is a great host... It took us no time to feel right at home. Be sure to visit The Stand for a tasty meal and entertainment. "As a large family with siblings travelling in from around the world to celebrate my fathers 80th birthday, we spent weeks trying to find a venue that would be suitable for a large family with kids ranging from 2 to 18. This venue was absolutely perfect for a weekend gathering of all ages . Maretta was so helpful in helping us coordinate a jumping castle, catering, a birthday cake. The space was perfect for a large group and Maretta and her husband couldn't have been more helpful. The bar area allowed is to have lots of fun and games across all ages Highly recommend this location for groups of all ages. Great views, lots of space, clean and plenty of activities to entertain groups "
