New 2 Bed & 2 Bath Home with pool and easy beach access. The beach access is across the road and a 3 minute walk past 4 other homes to the Playa Potrero public access. The house is new and opened in January 2016.

Exclusive Private Home on Playa Potrero, awarded the prestigious Blue Flag designation as an outstanding ecological beach.

Steps away from the Ocean, and your private pool is right off the covered lanai. Playa Potrero is renowned for its soft volcanic sand, and gentle warm ocean water. It's the perfect swimmer's and walker's beach.

Casa Columbine is the perfect location for the “Beach Hopper” with many world class beaches nearby. There is Potrero for Relaxation, Flamingo and Tamarindo for People Watching and Shopping, Penca and Prieta for Seclusion, Conchal for getting Back to Nature and Playa Grande for Costa Rica's best surfing.

The best Sun, Surf, Pool, Beaches, Restaurants, Bars, Jungles, that Costa Rica has to offer. Your visit includes membership at the Costa Rica Sailing Center (renting sailboats, stand uo surfboard, bikes and yoga classes), a 5 minute walk down the beach.

Your stay will begin with picking up the keys to Casa Columbine from our professional property management company (they can arrange transportation, tours, shopping for groceries and even a private chef!). Casa columbine family trip
We stayed here for 10 days with 3 children. It was awesome. Great location, easy check in, very responsive owner when we had questions. There is so much to do here and the locals are really friendly and appreciative of the visitors from other countries. Would definitely visit this area again. Tropical homes concierge was awesome to work with as well!

Great place to stay. House, property, and pool are all beautiful. Close to grocery stores and places to eat. Owner left a list of places to eat and things to do, which was very helpful. House had everything we needed, so just had to bring clothes. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Getaway Home for our Family Vacation
We all loved staying at Casa Columbine. Everything was perfect! Great communication throughout. The house had everything we needed and was not only conveniently located but also tucked away in a quiet location near the beach. We could not have asked for more yet, as a pleasant surprise, concierge services were available to help arrange all of our activities and excursions, as well as chef-cooked meals at the home and a golf cart for our local travel needs. Tere, our concierge, was amazing! We would not hesitate to return and would highly recommend Casa Columbine for your next stay in Costa Rica!

Overall a great stay and great house. A perfect location, a short walk to a beautiful beach. We hit some heavy traffic on the way in and had to pay a $20 late check-in fee. We arrived around 7pm. Check-in included someone meeting you at the house and walking you through the property. After a long day of traveling we were ready to settle in immediately. We would have preferred a lockbox to check-in or another method. We did not feel like we needed a tour of the house and the $20 fee was annoying but other than that a really great place where we had an absolute blast.

Our experience was excellent. The property was wonderfully maintained and the location is exceptional. Development around the home made it a little noisy during the day however escaping to the surrounding beaches was quick and easy. I would definitely stay here again.

A Piece of Paradise
It has been over 20 years since I've been to Costa Rica and it is exactly how I remembered. The people and food are amazing! And this house was the perfect location. Walking distance to a fairly private beach, this home has everything you need. From a great sound system to a beautiful pool, we didn't want for anything. I highly recommend using Miguel for his private chef service. He and Anna made us several delicious meals during our stay with the freshest food you can imagine. And the concierge service took great care of us during our stay making sure we had everything we needed. I will not be waiting another 20 years to come back.

Everything about Casa Columbine was perfect. The location, the comfort of the home, the well-equipped kitchen, the concierge service, the amenities, etc.. This was our second stay at Casa Columbine and everything was wonderful, just as before! The location is great for short drives to other beaches (since Potrero is a little too rocky for our kids), especially Flamingo and Prieta. Great restaurants near by as well!

The house is lovely and perfectly designed for friends and family to relax and be comfortable. The layout works well for privacy and the pool and beautiful garden and veranda was better than we expected. The house is better than the pictures and perfectly appointed. Highly recommend.

Great property in a fantastic location. Very close walk to what amounted to our own private beach. Pool in the backyard was great to have. Property management company was great to work with, even helping us find a custom birthday cake for our son. Cannot recommend this property enough. If it's available, book it!

Home was exactly as described. Perfect for our family of three. Potrero Bay is small and quaint, but has everything you need and is perfectly located for beach hopping and to Tamarindo if you want a busier beach experience. I would definitely stay again.
