"We had only planned to stay one night but Dar Amoudou is an excellent choice. It can be a bit challenging to find it but it’s worth it. Ali, the owner is welcoming and goes out of his way to ensure your comfort. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Very comfortable with great effort to satisfy our specific dietary requirements and a lovely view from the balcony. We enjoyed seeing both the sunrise and sunset from our balcony. "

"The property is huge as it is an entire apartment , and the beds are comfortable , with the spare bedding for winter. There is also the use of a shared washing maching and a great rooftop to look out from or hang washing.. The front desk is not 24/7 although im sure if you phoned someone would answer, eventually.., The place could really do with a good deep clean and a revamp entirely, as it does have great potential with a few caring touches. "The owner is extremely pleasant, welcoming and helpful. He not only helped us finding a tailor and a car cleaning place but took us there and made sure that we were taking care of. "This property is beautiful and isolated, about 8 kms outside Ourzazate. It's set beautifully but star gazing might be the only thing that you could do around here in the evening. Staff is friendly and helpful. We did have 1 room that had heat issues (December time and heater didn't work) but they shifted us to a bigger room. Water was heated and the room heat was sufficient. Great beds and the comforters were thick and heavy keeping us warm. The staff got up early and served us breakfast before...

Few flaws of this property- this property is in a remote location, deep inside the village. Few rooms, particularly the nearest rooms to the office at the ground floor and the one at the top floor, smelled terrible. Not sure if the smell was related to the cleaning supplies used or the old wood furniture or unwashed area rugs in the room. "
