I absolutely love The Peaks. The condos are as spacious & up to date as the photos look. The location is great, and the restaurant is really top notch. I would dine at Altezza even if I wasn't staying at The Peaks - it's really that good, and a value given the food quality you get. The service is slow, but that's everywhere in Telluride.
I would stay at this specific unit again in a heartbeat.
If you're staying in the summer, though, just be aware that the AC isn't that strong. You're probably going to want to keep the curtains closed in the afternoons to avoid the sun heating up the room, then open the sliding patio door as soon as the sun goes down, and leave it open overnight. The AC just can't keep up with 80-90 degree summer days. (We called maintenance, and the best they could do was wash the filter, but they admitted this was as good as it got.)
The heat problem is made a little worse in this particular unit because there are no windows in the bedroom, so it doesn't get much air circulation at all. I wouldn't want to house 4 people in this unit during the summers unless you're all comfortable enough sleeping with the doors open.
That's the only negative, though - otherwise I really would stay in this exact unit again anytime, including summer.
