"There was a lingering musty smell out of the cabinets. The internet was working off and on mostly off. Towells and room cleaning was provided every other day or three days. the building is old and can use paint and the furniture is torn up. The location is great, right in the middle of best part of Tel Aviv."

"This is our second stay at The Roof. If we are lucky, we will come back again. We love that the roof. Sitting on a large balcony with the Nepresso coffee provided is a treat. Shlomi, who runs the desk, is very kind and helpful. And the price is right. Two short blocks to Frishman beach and to the promenade. If you are looking for very nice room, bathroom and kitchenette without frills this is the place. We will stay again!"

I booked for 1 night and the hotel contacted me and told me that there’s a 2 night minimum and I have to pay an extra $130 if I wanna stay there. "False advertising and images on so many levels. It's dirty, small, not reachable, promised free parking online and there was none. Michal the owner was nice but the entrance is smelly and shady and terrible. I booked 6 nights and left after 1 night. This motel is not worth more than $55 a night. Too many wrongs to even mention here. Constructions, dirty, noisy. Scary at night with valley entrance. "

"We rented a room for 3 adults. The room had one large bed sufficient for 2, and no place or option even for a folding bed. The bed took up 90% of the room. The person working said she was new and had never seen the rooms, and since it was Saturday afternoon her religious boss will not be available until 8 am on Sunday. Moreover, the tiny room was not clean. Huge disappointment. The room was definitely not like advertised, and inappropriate for 3 people. Very deceiving!"
