"A perfectly maintained and charming hotel with genuinely friendly staff, a good breakfast, and excellent location just blocks from Mirabel Gardens and the Old City. The hotel suffers from one defect only, but it was a big one for me: the bar next door. This is the only reason I have not otherwise awarded 5 stars here. This is a very nice place for a relaxing experience that near a large town, but still out of the way. "

The hotel refused a refund and when Expedia approached them on my behalf, they did not answer their phone or e-mails. Terrible customer service."

"Room was clean but dated, with random screw sticking 1 cm out of the floor carpet, creating a trip/cut hazard. Breakfast, which we paid for, was not served until 800 am, and we had to leave for the airport at 700 am, so received no breakfast. Not even coffee was available at 700 am, as far as we could tell. No gasthaus staff were present when we checked in at 600 pm or when we left at 700 am, and the restaurant was not operating. "

There was a little path to walk down to the pedestrian district in town. It was a short and peaceful little walk to dinner.
