"Quiet motel, easy to find, comfortable beds and clean "

"Absolutely beautiful property, both the cabin and surrounding environment. Everything was as described and yet the descriptions cannot capture the extent of the place. We felt immediately at home with the well-stocked household of kitchen supplies, books, games, firewood, and candles. There was a constant gentle breeze to keep bugs away, so we spent much of the daylight hours reading and daydreaming on the wide porch or exploring the shoreline. The outhouse was clean and free of unpleasant smells, and the outdoor shower was sublime. We cooked a variety of meals (thanks for the eggs and wine, Jane!). At night, we ate under candlelight and the fire from the wrought-iron wood stove. Fireflies were in abundance every evening. We also enjoyed going out after the moon set to look at the brilliant night sky. Saw shooting stars and the Milky Way. We had a great time!"

"Great place to stay on the island "

"Everything was great in this super clean and spacious house. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would keep at home. If you have a keurig, bring some pods. While we were there (June), the mosquitos are abundant so pack your deet. The location is very close to the ferry (15min) and also handy to easily access all areas of the island. We explored a lot in our 2 days and found it to be fairly central and convenient home base. If you’re on the island Aurora hunting, there are some amazing, dark and scenic spots within 15min to take photos should the opportunity arise!"

"I stayed at this cottage for three weeks in April while I was working in the area, and it was everything I was looking for, plus more. The location is convenient and the view of the bay is spectacular. The cottage was very clean upon arrival. Also, having the barbecue available to use was a huge bonus! The hosts were pleasant, friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a home base for adventures on this beautiful island."
