"I loved staying in this space more than anything! I miss it and still think of it fondly. It’s just so beautiful and peaceful, not too far from Oughterard if you need some cooking supplies, but out of town enough that you really feel one with the beautiful landscape that surrounds you. If I lived in Ireland, I’d surely be back. :)"

"The location could not be better for a stay in Doolin, you can walk to everything it was to offer! The house was well appointed and very very spacious. The hot water was challenging but you can message the host about it, we just were so busy and forgot to ask. "

"Fanore is great, right on the coast with a fantastic view and remote but with a shop and pub very local, which were both great. Walk on a side road to the beach took about 15-20 mins and there were many places we accessed by car on days out too. House was a great size, was in need of some refurbishment downstairs, upstairs has more recently been done I think. The garden was a good size and great off road parking. Hosts were available for any questions and check in and out were smooth. "

We had great Irish weather - sunny some days, windy and rainy others. The School House was like a safe harbor. "We had a love stay on the outskirts of Oughterard! The property was quiet and remote and very enjoyable! Only thing I would say is we were a little confused on how to access the property at first because the address given stops at the cottages. I would also have liked the property manager to be more responsive, but the local contact was very helpful! Over all, this stay was great and will be incredibly memorable for a long time!"

"What? How does a place like this still exist on earth? It was so incredible to stay at this gorgeous house in such an idyllic sweet town. A Walk to the beach. A sit on the deck in the blowing wind. The house is so warm and cozy. The kitchen fully stocked. We named the beds ‘cloud beds’ because they are incredibly comfortable. There is nothing you can do that isn’t amazing. O‘connors Pub in Doolin and O’locclainns Whiskey Bar in BallVaughn are fun for a pint. You are very lucky if you get to...

"Beautiful location on the water. Fireplace for turf fires. Basic accommodations but basic is all you need in such a fantastic locality. The folks in Carna were accommodating. Be careful while driving here - but you probably already know that."

"This georgian house is impressive but in great need of some TLC. Mary the house keeper/property manager does a great job of keeping it clean and tidy but there are serious things that need addressing in order to maintain the house: the house has damp - stained peeling wallpaper shows this, as do the mushrooms growing out the beam by the front door. I'd urge the owner to get this under control before it takes hold of the property. A few features in the description are untrue: there is no games...

"The property is in an ideal location for Galway City and surrounding area.. It is dated and could do with some TLC ,along with the garden. The local area has some fantastic scenery and is almost a step back in time. The local Pub restaurant has a great atmosphere ,and the food and beer were marvellous! "
