"My 19-year-old son and I stayed at the Sunburst Retreat when we were in town for a tour of Kansas University - Lawrence. The location was perfect - it was a short walk to campus and Mass Street, where the shops and restaurants are located. I love how it is decorated, and it was great for us to each have our own rooms and also a living room to hang out in together. Highly recommend! If my son ends up going to KU this would be a great home base for future visits."

"Great location! Convenient to downtown and all of Lawrence. I used to live downtown so I know about the trains. Yes you can hear them as it clearly states in the description. We actually liked the rumble of the trains after the horns. Home is great with everything anyone could need. Great courtyard that I imagine in the spring is bloomed and beautiful.
