Red Rock Country Cabin

The Red Rock country with spectacular views lies at the heart of the most stunning country imaginable. Hike, climb, ride, photograph, and tour around our wonderful backyard — Capitol Reef. Also, just up the road is famous Boulder Mountain fishing. The location is breathtaking, and the overall experience, well…unforgettable. Minutes to Capitol Reef and yet just off Scenic Byway 12, designated as one of the “World’s 10 Most Beautiful Highways.” Hammocks, fire pit, patio, stargazing and more! I've been a professional photographer for over 35 years Out of all of Utah it is my most favorite area to photograph.

Other things to note
Just minutes from Capitol Reef National Park, you can explore almost 100 miles of natural wonders, including cliffs, canyons, domes and natural bridges. From Hickman’s Bridge and Fishlake National Forest (Fish Lake) to Anasazi State Park and the Prehistoric Petroglyph, there are many other stunning sights to see and they’re all within about an hour of this serene, out-of-the way respite.

Seasonal nightlife includes local natural history, culture, and live music in nearby Torrey (4 scenic minutes -- a sweet, tree-lined village). Oh, and the fishing -- don't forget the winding Fremont River and the big brookies of the Boulder Mountains.
An area where you can delight in hiking, backpacking, canyoneering and photo tours.

After you’ve explored Capitol Reef and the other National Parks--time permitting you can check out the newly announced National Monuments:
• Escalante Canyons National Monument
• Kaiparowits National Monument
• Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument
• Indian Creek National Monument
• Shash Jaa National Monument

Close to Capitol reef
Great for our group of 4 adults. We loved being close to Capitol Reef Park. Master Queen and Murphy bed were comfortable. It had everything we needed.

This was a perfect place for our family of 5 to use as a home base while exploring the area. Just enough space and used very effectively. Very comfortable and we had everything we needed!

Great size, decor, and location. Could not have had a nicer place especially for the price.

Mountain View
Overall a great location for an overnight stay. Beautiful views and close to town. The one unit ac did not continue into the bedrooms which made it a warm night for those staying in the bedrooms.

Great Proximity to Capitol Reef and Nice Property
Overall, this was an excellent property to stay at for our couple-day visit to Capitol Reef National Park. The only “ding” would be some small cleanliness issues, like dust bunnies in corners and a used pony tail band on the floor, etc.—things I didn’t even notice, and small enough that my wife, who did notice, wasn’t upset—she, like me, is certainly approving of the property overall). Do get that front door fixed, though! It sometimes took 2 or 3 minutes to get the door to lock or unlock from the outside, even with your instruction!
