"This is a beautiful property to spend a few days in and I recommend it to anyone visiting the region. You also get a lovely view of Mt Taranaki from the kitchen window (weather permitting) which is so lovely. As other reviews have said, this property is luxurious and one of the cleanest accomodations I have stayed in. Wendy is an attentive host but allows space and privacy to enjoy your stay. We plan to come back again :)"

"This was our third time we stayed at this property so that probably says it all. Awesome views with interesting sailings in and out of the port. Spacious lounge/dining area with all the kitchen equipment you could need. The upstairs bedroom has particularly good views and a private bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. Situated in a quiet residential area with a 4Square near by."

"Location is primo. On the boardwalk and Fitzroy beach. You can’t beat sitting on the deck in the evening hearing the surf 👍very comfy bed. Not so comfy inside couch area however didn’t sit around inside much. 😎"

"It was a surprising gem for my wife and I. It had exactly what you could need from a hotel and provided everything in-room that most high end hotels would have as extra...this said, be prepared for the smaller bathroom which was fine - some people seem to want a bathroom bigger than their bedroom for some reason. The rooms were well appointed and really comfortable. We only stayed a night because it was a drive through visit for a wedding BUT would definitely have been happy with a 3 day stay or more. The hosting managers were helpful and great to deal with but the PRICE was by far the catch for us, given some surrounding offerings were not as nice and more expensive. A business traveler or personal trips to regions, its just relaxing and in a central location you have everything at your disposal. We loved it. "
