"I liked the view. I didn't like anything else. I booked it at short notice for a two week stay and moved out after 3 nights. The back door only locked from the outside. There was only one other door - not good in an emergency. Two of us staying. 3 towels, 2 face cloths, 1 hand towel and 1 bathmat. I had to move my bed so I could shut my bedroom door. I had to ask for heaters to be supplied. There was no wifi. Lacking in any charm."

"Really loved our stay at this property! The location was brilliant in that it was only a 10 minute walk to the beach and had the most amazing bakery just around the corner. The house was fully stocked with everything you needed and very comfy beds too. We will return!"

"We had a family funeral to attend in Waikanae and this home was perfect for our family to retreat to in the evenings. We loved waking up and taking a few steps to the beach and it’s also very close to a four square and playground for the kids. Everything we needed and toasty warm in the middle of winter. "Large 1970s house. Tidy and good location to beach, cafes and 4 square shop. Reasonably happy with stay but there some things that need addressing.1) Upstairs Queen bed- the mattress springs gone on the right side and the mattress feels like you are sleeping on a slope. Definitely needs replacing 2) Lack of outdoor chairs on the deck 3) Pool cue sticks in garage has lost their tips and need to be replaced 4) outside furniture (table and chairs could do with a good clean or be replaced 5) BBQ -...

"Everything was perfect will definitely recommend, the only issue that would stop me in future is the water quality throughout all water outlets and pressure in the shower and toilet definitely need upgrading but other than that it was perfect thank you! "
