"The walls are paper thin, and we could hear the neighbouring rooms with children jumping around and it is quite dated, the bed was not very comfortable for what we feel we paid for the accommodation it was below our expectations"

If you can afford it, I recommend splurging on a helicopter flight or fixed wing plane ride to Milford from Queenstown or Wanaka. The views of Fiordland from above are unbeatable.
