Kinloch Wilderness Retreat

4.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (104)
"Incredible location; about 30 min from Glenorchy but a small community in its own right, quaint, with spectacular lake views. The fact that they have a restaurant, cafe, hot tub, and outdoor activities available there/nearby makes it feel like a bit of a haven. Easy access to Routeburn Track and High Country Horses, along with several other tracks; plenty to do outdoors. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, simple (I was in the budget twin). CUTE & COSY, CLOSE TO TOWN & LAKE

Panoramic Fiordland lake views from sunny rooms. Fresh wind blown Linen ! 😀!

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (252)
"House location was perfect with beautiful mountain views from every window. The bathroom arrangement is a bit odd with a singular toilet in a room upstairs as well as a sink and shower (only) in a separate room on the other side of the upstairs space. The beds are comfortable but make sure to take shampoo/conditioner etc. as that is not provided. Overall, a perfect place to stay for a long weekend of exploring and hiking."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Gordon and Viv's house. It was very clean and tidy and was super war and cosy. It had everything we needed, and more! So close to town too. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog to stay and she loved your house too. It was fenced very well for a dog. Thanks so much and we will definitely be coming to stay again! Maybe summer next time so we can enjoy the outdoor area too 😊"
