"From the Torridon Guest House we walked to all restaurants; to shopping areas, along the Ness River, to Botanical Gardens and cathedral. Our hosts, Russell and Ellen were gracious and Russell was helpful in providing historical and sites to visit in the area. Our room was comfortable and quiet."

"Ness View Apartment was hands down the best place I have stayed on holiday. The apartment was cosy, quiet, and was in a well situated area. You could walk to all Inverness has to offer. "Wanted to write a review as it was so good to see the attitude and hard work of all staff members, especially the younger members of the team. Proper hospitality, lovely food, amazing wine list and atmosphere. The hotel was super busy but there's a small army of staff... Including a very cheery breakfast chef this morning, constantly bringing out fresh food... Breakfast was lovely. Also loved the piano player in the evening. Minor criticism, hope it's helpful.... "My wife and I stayed here while on a three day tour and was a 10 minute walk from the coach drop off point in town. The owners messaged us access details the morning of the day we were to check in. Rooms are locked by a secure code and so is the front door. The room was very neat and cozy, and spotless. The area is quiet and there is minimal vehicle traffic in the morning and at night. "Didn’t tell you you had to make the room up and take down until after you book room. East just a pain to do after a full day of traveling. Our bed didn’t have right size sheets or blankets. So may do with using small sheets and blankets. Food at the pub was some of the best we have had. Very good service and ambiance "

"My stay at the hotel was great. Check in and out super easy, nice rooms, great value. The bar attached to the brewery/distillery is nice and would recommend the tour which you get a discount with via your hotel stay. Very short walk into town, and you get a nice view of the bridge and mountains as you do. The rooms do transmit a bit of noise but that's to be expected in this type of property and it wasn't majorly disruptive when there was some noise. Great value stay."

"Excellent find for our family. It was clean, and very comfortable. Showers were powerful, beds were very comfortable. Susan was so helpful salting the driveway as it had snowed over night- very magical. Would highly recommend this place and hope to return again. "

"I was met by Kay in the Dining rolm which had a log fire burning. She was incredibly welcoming and made you feel relaxed. Nothing was too much yrouble and the room was first class. All other public rooms and kitchen were excellent. A very quiet and relaxing place to stay. Than you"

"All 9 of us had a lovely stay at Darris Farm house. Perfect location near the Loch Ness. Beautiful house with everything you need! We loved the hot tub and garden! Feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, so peaceful yet you are so close to supermarkets and Inverness. We contacted the host a few times and got a quick response each time 😊"

Comfortable cottage in stunning location.

Fantastic Property

"This is a truly impressive house. The short title of the listing is absolutely correct; it is a stunning location. You are practically in your own forest with a Loch just a minute's walk. There are lots of walks around the house, and it is completely peaceful. There is an abundance of wildlife in the garden, including pheasants, Red Squirrels and hundreds of birds. We also saw the odd deer and a couple of sheep (although the owner encouraged the latter to return to their field!). The house is an ideal base for the highlands. Inverness is 20-minutes away, which gives you access to Loch Ness and the Black Isle. You also have easy access to Speyside and the Cairngorms. There is so much to see around here. The house has everything you can possibly need. It is immaculate inside and Jon was incredibly friendly, making sure everything was fine for us. We will return to this house. We had an amazing time. It is a place that would be ideal to relax, but similarly is a base to do lots of exploring and then relax in the evening, watching the clouds go by and the colours changing as the sun sets."
