This chalet offers plenty of privacy and is located on a mountain with stunning views of the beautiful countryside. The chalet has a living room with a spacious seating area and a modern kitchen with a large dining table. There is also a sauna where you can completely unwind after a day of skiing. In the conservatory, you can relax on the lounge set overlooking the garden and enjoy a crackling fire on the terrace under the veranda. From May to October you can use the heated swimming pool
Taxenbach is a small village in Austria's Salzburgerland region on the edge of the Hohe Tauern National Park. It lies at the beginning of the Raurisertal valley. It does not have its own ski area directly, but you can divert to the ski areas of Rauris, Kaprun with its glacier at the Kitzsteinhorn and Zell am See.
In summer, you can take many, beautiful walks here. In addition, Zell am See, with its beautiful Zeller See, is definitely worth a visit and you can take a boat out on the lake here. Austria's highest mountain, the Großglockner (3798 metres), can be reached by a beautiful car route through the many, sharp hairpin bends. Taxenbach is further famous for the Kitzlochklamm. This is a huge gorge created over centuries by the river Rauriser Ache. You can walk through this gorge by means of wooden steps made along the mountainside
Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine
