Located in heart of Tavira! A Spacious, ground floor, 2 bedroom apartment with air-conditioning in living area, bedrooms and kitchen. Living area includes satellite TV, DVD player and gas fire with a well equipped kitchen and 2 bathroom (ensuite & main). The Apartment has a large patio overlooking beautiful gardens. The Patio has outdoor furniture which includes large table with 5 chairs and 2 sun loungers. It is walking distance into Tavira town centre (exactly 8 minutes), close to all amenities including bars, supermarkets, restaurants, coffee shops, banks, railway and bus station. In a good location for access to an amazing 4 mile stretch of beaches with golden sands. From Faro Airport it takes 20-30 minutes to apartment on the A22.

The apartment was lovely. We had everything we needed even for an extended stay. Our property manager, Christine, was very pleasant and helpful. It was nice to have an outdoor patio and everything was close. We love Tavira!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this apartment. It is beautifully presented and really well stocked with everything we needed. The location was great: 5 mins walk to the train station, same for Lidl, and 5 mins to the centre. A charming place.

Quiet, pleasant flat in a convenient location
The flat is pleasant in a safe, quiet neighbourhood within easy walking distance of the town centre , train station and bus station. Tavira is a lovely old town with many restaurants, good communications and history. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay in this fully equipped and clean apartment. Great communication, we don't have any complaints. Parking is very easy, however all the great sights in Tavira are accessible by foot.

Lovely apartment close to everything
We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment. It was very comfortable and within walking distance to the Old Town Center where there were several amazing restaurants, shops, and views to enjoy. The bed was very comfortable and the AC in each room was wonderful. It also had a washer/dryer that came in very handy for our extended visit to the Algarve (a bit tricky to figure out if you’re not European, but after a few guesses we got it down). We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

The property was approximately 13 minutes from historical centre. Cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance. Unit very comfortable beds and furniture. Well equipped unit with lovely terrace. Washing machine a challenge but eventually managed it. Hosts very responsive to any requests.

A lovely spacious, clean home from home apartment.
After our lovely welcome we quickly settled in to the lovely apartment. Outside the surroundings were very comfortable, getting around was easy , taxis are not expensive and it was very nice just strolling through the town. Will certainly book again .

Lovely apartment
The apartment is really spacious and nicely furnished.comfortable bed and great bathrooms. Tavira is a lovely old town 10 minutes walk away. Plenty of good restaurants and cafes. Tavira island is beautiful, only 2.50€ return on the ferry. The terrace is very nice, it was very hot while we were there unfortunately the parasol was broken so there was no shade. We got bitten by mosquitoes so take some repellent! We had a great time.

Fantastic
The apartment was beautifull and very well equipped.Margaret showed us around the apartment then very kindly drove us around the area in her car, this was great as it helped us to get our bearings. Tavira is a great place for a holiday and we would return for another visit and stay in this apartment again.

Excellent location and amenities
This rental was one of the best we have had in years of European travel. The location is excellent with a few minutes walk to the centre of Tavira. As well, there are at least three very good restaurants and a cafe just steps away. Parking is easy at the front door and it is close to the road out of town for touring the Algarve. The apartment is very comfortable , tastefully furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. The owner provided a very helpful detailed guide to the rental. I would not hesitate to recommend this place. In fact, we are already planning our return.

Apartment is listed as luxury!! Comfortable and spacious living area, beds comfortable but bedrooms quite cramped, no coffee machine or perculator, cafatiere was cracked so not usable, no juicer or teapot, cupboard handles were grimey had to scrub them as not nice to use

Perfect Location!
We stayed here for 6 weeks and enjoyed every minute. We didn’t have a car, but everything was within easy walking distance, including 3 grocery stores. If you Do have a car, there is parking, and because of the location you don’t have to drive through narrow, unfamiliar streets. The train station is less than a 10 minute walk, and we traveled to several other locations along the route. The neighborhood is very quiet and well lit at night. The house is spacious and comfortable with a huge patio where we enjoyed soaking up the sun. The owners are awesome, and Christine, the property manager was extremely helpful. In addition the neighbors were all friendly and welcoming. It was easy to make friends. Visits from Luna, the neighborhood cat, we’re an extra bonus. We have already booked again for next year!

Almost,but not quite.
Firstly i would like to thank the owners for accommodating our extra day,thank you.Check in was easy with a nice lady to meet us and explain/answer any questions. The apartment is in a decent location with parking outside(we had travelled there in our camper) The apartment itself was clean and tidy with a good size bed that was nice and comfortable.The shower was good and all towels were good quality. We couldn't work out how to use the fire(no instructions]so had to make do with the aircon unit for the heating(its in several rooms)We found it to make the place a bit stuffy so ended up not using it(this was December) The kitchen seems well equipped but the oven needs changing,total waste of time trying to cook anything,everything else was ok. Around the property,there are a few missing bulbs/lights and a loose socket in the front room.Things that should be noticed and sorted ,after all,we pay a service fee. We had an afternoon on the room terrace(broken door handle)No furniture to use,we borrowed (and returned) some chairs from over the wall.Could do with a bbq up there,would have been a nice touch. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.Sort the little things out and the apartment would be perfect.

Comfortable, well equipped accommodation.
Having returned to the Western Algarve and the Alentejo for our holidays each year since 1985, we had, for the last few years considered trying the Eastern Algarve and so in 2016 we had our first holiday in Tavira.Although our holiday and residence were good our stay this time was enhanced by the superb accommodation which we found to be very comfortable, clean and with many facilities as described in the itinerary and most importantly everything functioned as it should! Communication is a very important aspect and was excellent throughout, particularly nice to have someone waiting at the accommodation to greet you.There would be no hesitation in recommending a stay here! The location is convenient for the railway station( great value, $5.60 return to Vila Rea)l, bus station, town centre and restaurants and also supermarkets and traditional local market, all within a 10 to 20 minute radius. We prefer to mix eating in the local restaurants with meals in the accommodation.Fresh food is very reasonable in price and excellent quality, as this is only our second holiday in Tavira we are still checking out the restaurants but the Avienda, Castello and Jorge and Lia are worth a visit.The Tuk-Tuk tours are good for seeing lots of the area in a short space of time, personal service, driver and yourselves,not cheap but we considered it whorthwhile.So what did we not like about Tavira? well, we are still looking!

Superb apartment
I think it is fair to say that this was the best apartment we have rented so far. As soon as we walked through the door we were impressed, it smelt fresh, was very clean and well maintained and all the furnishings and bedding etc were very good quality, it didn't feel like a holiday let, nor did it feel like somebody else's home, we were so comfortable because it felt like our own home. We were planning to walk from the train station (which is less than 10mins walk) but as we arrived at Tavira and took out the map which Clive provided we were greeted by Jacky, who very kindly insisted she drive us to the apartment. Shortly after our arrival, whilst checking out the huge patio, we met the next door neighbour who invited us to a communal BBQ that was being held that evening in the gardens in the centre of the apartment block. Even though we were on the ground floor and the patio wall is low, we had total privacy from anybody passing by. Tavira is a gorgeous traditional town, not too big, and was easily reached on foot, there are several routes to take so you won't get bored. Bus station and train station no more than 10 mins stroll. Lidl supermarket next to train station. We took the train to Vila Real San Antonio (30mins and inexpensive) then the ferry across Spanish border to Ayamonte for the day, a lovely town and VRSA had a huge market which we visited on our return journey. The Portuguese people we met were so pleasant and helpful. There are lots of nice restaurants all over the town but one I would particularly recommend for exceptional food is 'O Castelo' just below the castle on the road fromt the train station to the Roman Bridge, also another we liked was 'D'Gusta' on the other side of river between Roman and rail bridges. The beaches are lovely, take the ferry to Ilha Tavira 1€ each way, also Praia Do Barril, we went by bus to Pedras del Rei then took the little tour train across to the beach where we were amazed by the stretch of beautiful golden sand, the Cemetry of Anchors and the sparkling Atlantic. We would definitely return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment to anybody.

Great Apartment
A lovely ground floor apartment to stay in for a break in Tavira, plenty of space inside and out. We had an issue when we arrived with cracked tiles on the patio but this had already been reported and a builder was sorting the issue. Well worth booking plus Tavira is a beautiful town to visit.

Having had the pleasure of staying in this apartment before, we came back to enjoy a lovely week in a confortable place, equipped with everything you need for a week's vacation, with a patio where one can spend some time relaxing, especially in the evenings.
